Continuity mistake: Senator Dick Hotchkiss leaves the car in the capable hands of the 'man from Tijuana'. He walks towards the club with his trophy blonde and shakes hands with two people. Meanwhile the valet puts the reverse and zooms away. The senator turns, but the two people he was chatting with are gone. (00:06:20)

XXX (2002)

Factual error: Oddly enough, the double doors of the crisis room where Gibbons makes his entrance have a world map with India scaled wrong (in particular in relation to Sri Lanka and Maldives) and missing New Zealand entirely. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: After infiltrating the Rammstein concert using his sonic screwdriver, the secret agent is moshing his way through the rabid crowd. In the initial phase of the chase, shortly after Yorgi says "Zaraza" you can see that the band members are not wearing their mouth flamethrowers yet, or they already are, with no continuity. Continuity mistake: The person assaulted by the James Bond clone at the beginning of the movie is walking across the square; he casts shadows in directions not coherent from shot to shot. (00:00:50)

Continuity mistake: Xander Cage whips out the grenades and tosses them behind him to do a Mulan and create an avalanche. He does not zip his jacket back up, but it is during the rest of his slide. (01:29:35)

XXX (2002)

Factual error: The weapon Xander fires in the basement to kill the sniper with the might of his irony does not make sense (as noted before, it is non-existent and its prop is a modified camcorder). First of all, he is firing it with his back to the wall, and the deflected backblast alone would fry Vin Diesel's arse. Second; it fires a heat-seeking rocket that targets a single lit cigarette completely outside of Xander's range, to the point that the projectile does almost a U turn (way more than 90°); if it just goes for any smallest object wildly off the supposed target range (Vin Diesel is looking at a screen when he points it), then it could end up targeting the launcher itself, heated up by just having fired, or weapons or shells just fired by allies, making it useless in combat. Third; the screen Vin Diesel is looking at...is switched off. (01:38:40)

XXX (2002)

Plot hole: Via his bondesque band-aids, Vin Diesel disposes of all the bad guys' vehicles - except the one next to the boss and Yelena (very conveniently or he would have killed his main villain and his girlfriend). He races super-fast to his hideout with his super-fast bike, he is in SUCH a rush that he does not even park the bike but just jumps off it and lets it crash into a dumpster. In his room he has a 45 second conversation with Sova. Somehow Asia Argento in less than a minute not only caught up with him, who had already a huge head start and she was never seen even beginning any pursuit, but she also contacted 'the Ivans', from a separate organization, shows up with them and she was there early enough to even infer that XXX was in trouble, so she must have been even quicker than that to eavesdrop. XXX (2002)

Plot hole: You are locked in a room. On one end of the room, a thick vault door of solid steel. On the other end, a security glass double door with your evil boss cackling maniacally, the remote for the deadly chemical bomb in his hand. You have automatic weapons at your disposal. Which door are you gonna shoot in your desperate attempt to save your skin? Apparently, ALL the literal rocket scientists in this movie decided that shooting at some inches of stainless steel is a better option than trying and dent a couple mm of plexiglass, which would have stopped their traitorous employer from releasing the gas or killed him too. No human being would be this stupid. (01:15:15)
