Other mistake: The sequence when Tatsumi slaps Ikki lacks basic perspective all around; Ikki is supposed to fall on the floor, but then again, his head stands tall in front of his gut, and he's just a kid. He could reach there only standing. (00:11:00)

Continuity mistake: Tatsumi shows the "Death Queen Island" slip of paper holding it in a different way between shots. The folding line of the paper also falls either to the left or the right of the first N. (00:09:40)

Continuity mistake: Ikki catches Shun's chain wrapping it around his fist. It is the end with the ball. When he looks down on Shun before preparing for his attack that closes the episode, the part with the edges is the one entangled to his arm. (00:19:20)

Continuity mistake: For some reason, the eyes of Phoenix's mask keep a coherent shape throughout the first part of his appearance - can't expect millimetre precision, but definitely consistent.Then he hits Shun from the Gold Cloth stand, and the eye slits become way more rounded and not resembling the ones from the beginning of the scene at all. Other mistake: Pegasus and Dragon arrive at the arena, ringside. Close-up on Shun who looks fiercely at the source of the danger; in this shot there's a double coloring error, since he lacks the vertical stripe on the helmet, and the collar of his armor is flesh-colored. (00:15:00)

Continuity mistake: In the first part of the scene with Seiya at the hospital, there's a rather large ledge behind the bed, harboring a stupidly big pink box of tissues. Once Shiryu enters the room, there's a wall lamp and the space is narrower, the box is smaller and changes color to blue/grey. (00:02:30 - 00:08:40)

Plot hole: Shiryu tells Seiya that he had a feeling that someone was watching them from the shadows "ever since our fight ended." That makes no sense, since he was comatose (and he says himself that Shunrei had to tell him what happened). In the manga, he says that he had this feeling since the tournament began, which makes much more sense (plus Phoenix does not show up at that specific time being detected by the Andromeda chain). Continuity mistake: When the kids nearly give Seiya a concussion for the lulz, the one in the middle has both hands on the blanket in the first shot, while in the following the blanket is covering less of the bed and so he has his right chubby hand on the sheets. (00:02:35)
