Batwoman (2019)

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: At the university, Sophie ends up chasing away anyone interested in Mary. She motions her to go and in a close-up says "Kinda looking for my future husband here." Behind her, a woman with a bike is walking right to left. In the next shot, the woman is walking starting from a point much further back than before, and even more noticeably, two girls calmly make their way halfway through the stairs and sit down...but they were already sitting there in that previous shot. Down Down Down - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: The quantity of blood behind Batman's dummy changes; in the overhead shoot of the crowd it runs horizontally along the step for an area 3-4 inches wide, while in the subsequent close-up there's no such trim. (00:12:00)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: When Reagan says "Sound like I have nothing to worry about" referring to Sophie, to the left of the frame a black couple meets a friend in a hug. In the next shot, they keep walking and Reagan says "I used to live there", passing by the same guy, not yet reached by the friend. (00:13:45)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Factual error: At the end of the episode, Batwoman shoots her Bat-rope at the villain and yanks her off the building she made her escape to. Magpie is not a superhuman invulnerable being; assuming the grapple didn't puncture anything in her flesh and just hooked to some part of the costume like her backpack, she still is pulled with force from well above the 5th floor of a building to the end of the street, back first into a fountain, with a water level so shallow that she backpaddles into it as soon as she lands without being submerged. She does not experience a single moment of shock or stun from an uncontrolled fall of that magnitude. (00:33:00)

Batwoman (2019)

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Factual error: The villain triggers the detonation that causes the elevator with Kate's dad and stepmom to start falling. After an initial hiccup, the cabin begins a freefall. Only after this real fall begins and the elevator already fell a few floors down, Batwoman lands on another elevator. Pauses. Shoots her rope to the top of the shaft. Hooks it. Pauses. Shoots from Chekhov's gun the double edged harpoon, which effortlessly sticks to the top of the elevator cabin and halts the ruinous fall with a smooth slowdown and no oscillation. All of that happening because somehow the elevator in all those seconds is just a handful of floors lower, even if it was plummeting at breakneck speed from the very first shot. (00:35:40)

The Rabbit Hole - S1-E2

Plot hole: Batwoman sees live on TV the explosion that sends the truck into the river, while she is in the clinic of her stepsister on top of a building. She needs to go get her bike and drive to site. Fox says that she is "5 minutes out" when the truck is shown going completely underwater, with Alice inside who has been unconscious all the time. Even assuming that she makes it in less time than that, she still has to leave her bike somewhere and access the river from a somewhat secluded spot and swim to the spot, because the bridge is crawling with cops. There is no way that Batwoman would be able to save her and Alice would be totally fine, needing simply an aqualung to get back to her senses (and somehow survive an explosion that nearly kills Batwoman with her padded 10 million dollars suit).

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Plot hole: During the investigation for the security breach at Wayne Enterprises, the policemen are recalled for an emergency at the Gazette. (would make no sense that they are so short on men right in the core of the city that they'd need to call people away from an active investigation like that, but fine). The radio code used is "10-54", which is supposedly according to sources online "possible dead body", it perfectly fits the situation. When Kate arrives on site, people are just then starting to flock the area. Where have they all been before? It is impossible that someone called the police on it, who are somewhere else entirely, but several minutes passed by and every curious bystander is just arriving now with the protagonist. The Rabbit Hole - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: In her diary entry at the end of the episode, Kate puts the pen down to fetch the file. She puts the pen by the diary at first, but in the next shot the pen is on it, in the middle of the page. (00:40:20)

Batwoman (2019)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Plot hole: The whole "booby trapped frozen room" does not make any sense. Let's try to ignore the fact that it is entire speculation and a huge leap of faith on Mr. Fox's part that the trap works that way or that it's the only one, and that it wouldn't make sense (especially for a thief) to have something so erratic rigged to destroy your whole expensive equipment and jewelry stash - at most something directed at the door or a small charge to destroy your HD to cover your tracks. Still, it is supposed to react to any minuscule variation of temperature in the room and is triggered by a small sneeze, but Batwoman opens the door normally, and that alone would create a variation in temperature much bigger than her breath's (just think of what happens when someone does that in real life!). Batwoman (2019)

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Revealing mistake: During the sequence with a crowd in front of the Gazette looking at the dummy on the stairs, there is a shot with the camera panning up (right after Kate arrives). Look in the crowd on the left side; a kid is following the movement of the camera on the crane instead of looking at the 'crime scene'. (00:11:50)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Plot hole: Fox is alerted by the alarms that there is an intruder in the house, exactly in Wayne's office. He has to make his way up from the Batcave to the main residence, enter by the door and then he gets knocked out by Magpie. As it turns out at the end of the episode, she had the place perfectly scouted (and it was shown anyway that the intruder was already in the office when the alarm rang), so there's no reason at all why she'd still be there to assault him, considering the necklace was not guarded by some bulletproof crystal or anything of the sort and if she planned such a bold theft in broad daylight she surely wouldn't take her time to get what she came for. Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Magpie is trying to steal a Faberge egg. We see her lowering herself from the ceiling, a POV shot that positions her right in front of it and she makes the grabby hand gesture thingy like in her first heist. Batwoman throws a batarang, severing her cable and she falls on the floor, vertically. Nowhere near the jewelry case that was supposedly in her reach. (00:09:50)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Somehow, Alice and a couple goons in conspicuous attire are just waiting by Catherine's car in the cemetery without her noticing. When she says "You know the thing I love about bad guys?" Elizabeth Anweis' hand is not in frame. Yet in the other shots you can see (use the jacket lapel as reference) that the hand, raised above the elbow level, should be visible. (00:06:20)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Kate grabs her phone bedside, reading Luke Fox's message (complete with apropos bat-emoji). She puts it away and says "Sorry" to her fling, immediately placing the phone hand down her back, with the right hand being on her shoulder instead. New angle, and the hands switched position (left on shoulder, right hand at the middle of the back). After a few seconds of terrible lying, Reagan says "That sounds...really serious..." and you can also see a lot of hair moved in front of her shoulder. When they begin snogging before she goes there is more switching hand position business between cuts too, with the left hand being behind and in front. (00:02:30)

The Rabbit Hole - S1-E2

Factual error: Alice and Kate's little reunion underwater is disrupted by policemen that fire at them, and one of the shots reaches the transport truck, ignites it and makes it explode. The scene is baffling; forgetting the complete disregard for fellow policemen in the vehicle, how would bullets have enough strength to penetrate into an armored truck deep underwater, reach a critical weak point from that angle (the truck is upright, they should be barely get to shoot the roof of it) and still underwater cause inside the completely immersed vehicle a spark that would ignite fuel and make the whole truck explode? Batwoman (2019)

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Plot hole: Kate in the Batcave says with absolute certainty "Alice doesn't know that Bruce Wayne is Batman. Whoever stole the gun, knew that Bruce had to have the suit to test it on." Both statements are leaps in logic with no foundation. Alice knows that Kate is Batwoman, and that Bruce's office is her center of operation (she even shines a bat-signal there!). It would be perfectly logical to assume that she made the connection. The testing bit is simply a non-sequitur; plenty of weapons can be made and tested on armor which fits the specifications, real or inferred, of a particular target, without being in possession of the item as a whole. Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Magpie tosses aside the cable severed by Batwoman's batarang. In two different overhead shots, the cable lies on the ground in two completely different ways. Even assuming during their fight they could have accidentally hit one end of it with the foot when it was not in frame, it still does not account for the massive difference. (00:10:00)

Batwoman (2019)

Down Down Down - S1-E3

Factual error: The villain drops the elevator full of waiters and catering staff; the display gives him no indication of whoever is in each elevator, but we can maybe assume it was a staff-only elevator and he knew it (it surely had no markings to indicate it). When Kate reaches the ground floor, everyone inside that elevator is lying unconscious in the corridor. I could understand if the survivors crawled there, but everyone is simply KO meters away from the elevator as if the impact happened there and not in the elevator shaft with a devastating buildup that had to be vertical and contained for obvious reasons. The Rabbit Hole - S1-E2

Continuity mistake: When Kate and Sophie are in the parking lot and Kate gives her the knife for analysis, she is holding the plastic bag in different ways between shots (you can see the ziplock of the bag change position, and her hands shift in the distance). (00:12:20)

Batwoman (2019)

Who Are You? - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: Kate is on her lunch date with Reagan. Panning shot of the Chicago aka Gotham street. There's a family with mom, dad and two kids, with a girl in purple that climbs up leaning on the railing, and her brother follows shortly. A closer angle follows ("Why the hell did you move back here", Reagan asks) and the two kids have yet to step to the railing, and do it in reverse order. Even more remarkable; at the very end of their long conversation, in the shot when Fox's message pops up, they are STILL by the same family despite the fact that they have been walking and passing several other people all along.
