Continuity mistake: In the wrap-up shot of the scene in front of the bus, Paige and the girls are talking about her fake tan and dye. Madison screws on the lid with the hand that was holding the bottle in the previous shot. (00:56:35)

Continuity mistake: Fast forward to the present day, and Saraya and Zak are double-pinfalling their parents in a match. As the referee counts to three, Saraya is holding her mother's arm in the pinfall at first, but she is not holding it in the overhead shot. (00:04:25)

Continuity mistake: At the airport, Paige hugs her parents for the first time. There's a guy with white hair who walks past them. He is absent in the reverse shot, though. About 20 seconds pass as they talk some more; they hug a second time... and there he is this time: White Haired Guy is in the reverse shot, barely past them. (00:35:10)

Continuity mistake: When the WAW gang packed in the van is singing "Born to Raise Hell," the scenery through the van window changes between shots. (01:30:25)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Paige meets the three babes poolside. When she says, "Hi, I'm Saraya," Jeri-Lynn was fixing her hair in the previous shot, but now her arm is down at her side. (00:37:30)

Stupidity: The movie takes creative liberties with the real story; it's understandable, for instance, that it would show Paige being directly on NXT rather than part of the Florida Championship Wrestling promotion first, and that she is the only real character from NXT depicted in the movie. However, the movie chooses also to omit the fact that Paige was NXT Champion when she faced AJ Lee. Not just that, but it alters entirely the dynamic of the actual match; she does not manage to utter a single word because of stage fright, something that movie-wise she seems to have never managed to overcome. Given the changes, the movie asks us to believe that WWE would make a champion out of a complete rookie who is a deer in the headlights in front of a crowd that ignores her and hasn't found her personality yet - she does so only after she wins. That doesn't make a lot of sense even by the movie's own logic.

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Julia jokes about her husband crying at the end of Paige's match, he covers his face with either hand, depending on the shot. (01:41:55)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Paige gives the emotional speech (that the actual Paige never gave) after winning the championship, she thanks her family. Cut to said family. Notice the cardboard diva title in Lena Headey's arms. It's upside down, but they fix it right away when it cuts to Nick Frost. (01:40:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: A small crowd of people in Norwich are chilling at Ricky and Julia's to watch Paige's first match (even if it's 5 AM, which the movie does not acknowledge at all). When the usually polite mother-in-law screams profanity to cheer Paige, the kid with an afro suddenly is shown resting his chin on his hand, which wasn't true in the previous shot. (01:38:10)

Factual error: Coach Hutch escorts Paige to an exclusive booth during WrestleMania XXX, taking place in 2014. In the corridor leading to the booth, far in the back, posters for Money in the Bank 2013 and Royal Rumble 2012 (which are fine), a poster with Randy Orton from No Mercy 2007 (a bit old but always a cool poster), and one with John Cena in Extreme Rules 2015 (that one is just impossible). (01:22:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Coach Hutch tries to make one of the applicants quit with his silly horn thing, but Paige steps in. Jeri-Lynn breathes raggedly as she runs one hand through her hair. Which hand though? Her right, in the first shot. Her left, in the second. (01:18:50)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Zak is drinking alone in a pub, looking to pick a fight. In the first shot, he has about half a glass of beer left. He drinks in the next shot, but by doing so, he empties a glass that already has barely any beer left. In a third shot, some beer magically appears again for him to drink. (01:11:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Zak pins Paige after a tombstone piledriver, Florence Pugh has a few locks of hair over her right shoulder after several shots when she didn't have any. (01:07:55)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Rick and Julia are introducing Paige during their Christmassacre show, the ring (and Nick Frost's bulky figure) is lit differently in the various camera angles. (01:05:40)

Sammo

Factual error: For the last day of training before the Christmas holidays, the NXT bus stops at a gas station with food retail from Fastrip, which is a chain based on the West Coast (mostly California with some stores in Nevada and Arizona) and with no stores in Florida, where the training facility is supposed to be. (01:00:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Paige had a pointless argument with the girls on the bus. She is sitting all by herself in front of the gas station. You can see the building is fully sunlit. When the coach approaches her, there's a large shadow over the "Town and Country" sign. It happens again during the scene; the building lighting changes depending on the camera angle. (01:00:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Paige embarrasses herself at the boot camp track, she lies with her baseball cap next to her blonde head in the shots from the side, but no cap is in sight in close-ups. (00:58:45)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Vince Vaughn asks Paige, "Did someone break up with you?" as a comment on her fake tan and dye-job, the girl in front of Paige turns towards him twice, then looks straight again, all between shots. (00:56:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Paige approaches the two girls poolside to "explain the receipt", in the first close-up Jeri-Lynn is touching her own hair while Madison is relaxed. Then the angle changes, and Madison is the one touching her hair, while Jeri isn't. (00:49:55)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Kristen accidentally elbows Paige in the face the first time after a misplaced kick. Paige asks her about her previous training; during this bit, she holds her hand at different heights across shots. (00:46:05)
