He holds a single sheet with both hands over the desk, but when he answers he has both hands on the opposite sides of the whole folder, flat on the desk. Similarly, later in the convo Rockford says he has a lead, Moss has his left hand on the chair, but is instantly flipping a page with that same hand in the reverse shot. (00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: At the party in Rockford's flashback, Loren says "Say Cathy, what about some backgammon?" Behind him, some chap with bad blonde hair and beige shorts and polo shirt walks from left to right. Reverse shot, and the same guy is walking behind Rockford. (00:17:10)

He opens it looking straight forward in the first shot, but in the reverse angle he is foolishly looking away allowing the goons to surprise him. (00:10:55)

Continuity mistake: Rockford rear-ends an unsuspecting fella that is paying the parking. He moves the car in the wide shot (he has to, the whole point is that he's pushing the car out of the way and bypassing the bars), but in the close-ups of the guy the car hasn't budged an inch. (00:05:40)
