SSX On Tour

Bug: On rare occasions, your edited character's face (Asian male) can get glitched out during the first run, like he's been beaten up and bruised. (encountered on PS2).

Driver 2

Continuity mistake: Some of the missions - unintentionally - let Tanner switch cars if the player is quick enough (by stopping at red lights and swiftly jumping into another stationary vehicle, for example) and leave the default vehicle behind. Still, in the following CG cutscene, it's always the default/generic car that can be seen.

Murdoch Mysteries (2008)

The Incurables - S8-E13

Continuity mistake: Shortly after arriving to the crime scene, Murdoch instructs Crabtree to collect the fingerprints of the asylum patients - but the women in the institute were arrested before (most of them by Murdoch himself) so their fingerprints should've been collected already. It's pointless collecting them again.

Into the Wild (2007)

Question: Chris didn't take any ID or such with him. It's OK that he could work with the country guys, but how could he get an "official" job in a fast food restaurant without any identification document or card?

Dangar

Answer: Chris probably knew what his Social Security Number was, and providing this could be enough to legitimately get him on the payroll. The people he worked for along the way could have been used as references. It is also possible that he was able to get a transcript and/or other documentation from Emory University; maybe a phone call to check if he graduated was more than enough. Christopher was also somewhat older and educated/ intelligent than others seeking such employment - in his early 20s compared to high school kids - which may have given him an advantage. There was probably a high job turnover rate among the employees, making it easier to get hired. Fast food restaurants tend to hire people from all walks of life, many who do not have much, if any, formal education or prior job experience; they often hire whoever applies.

KeyZOid

Not entirely disagreeing with your answer, but having worked at a university, I can say that someone cannot simply make a phone call to obtain a student's academic information, even their own. A 1974 U.S. federal law (FERPA) protects student privacy. Every school is different, but there is usually a process requiring identification, paperwork, and signatures to prove identity. As Chris had left all his I.D. behind, it would take some time for him to get any college information, particularly from a school in another state.

raywest

Answer: In real life, his sister Carine recovered his backpack, which had been taken and kept by a man immediately after Chris died. In it was his wallet, along with his SS card and other important documents.

Answer: One possibility is that it wasn't an "official" job and his boss was paying him 'under the table' (unreported employment). It is illegal, but it's more profitable for an employer to avoid reporting anything to the federal government, disregard regulations, not pay the usual employee taxes, benefits, etc.

Murdoch Mysteries (2008)

24 Hours Til Doomsday - S9-E5

Other mistake: James Pendrick shares his plans with Murdoch about how he is going to reach the orbit of the Earth by flying his own built rocket. However, earlier in the episode, Pendrick himself reveals that he is claustrophobic (extreme fear of confined places). Having such phobia would make his planned journey fundamentally impossible as he couldn't stay hermetically closed in the small rocket for long without suffering serious psychical damage.

Dangar

Other mistake: After the final battle, the protagonists simply leave the scene and the remains of the T-800 and Rev9 behind. Sarah should've known by now that letting even the smallest part of a Terminator to be fallen into bad/incompetent hands could lead to disastrous consequences for the future of mankind. Being obsessed and even paranoid about future and fate, it's very unlikely that she could just go away like that, calling it a day before destroying all the present time traits of the Legion.

Suggested correction: Sarah knows that both machines have been destroyed by Grace's power source. Or she may have simply retrieved any leftover parts off-screen.

Cruis'n World

Factual error: The underwater tunnels in the Hawaii stage are placed too high to be at correct level connecting with the Ocean below, let alone going underwater. In fact, the roadway never even gets in level with the Ocean surface, so it's a topographical anomaly.

Murdoch Mysteries (2008)

Bend It Like Brackenreid - S10-E7

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, some of the main characters are spectating the ongoing football match. Look at Dr. Ogden: the position of her hands - therefore the way she is holding her bag - keep changing cut by cut.

Dangar

Factual error: The School level in this game takes place in South Africa (presumably in Johannesburg) while in the first Tony Hawk game, the very same level is located in Miami, USA.

Other mistake: The hospital elevator that operates via voice decoding system - so it can only be opened by the doctor (s) - is absolutely out of any sense. It would make visitors, nurses, maintenance workers, emergency services (police, firefighters), etc. to be unable to access or leave certain areas of the building without constant doctoral escort. Even there are secretly operating Umbrella labs in the facility, this method of keeping unwanted personnel outside is illogically exaggerated.

Evil Eye of Egypt - S5-E3

Continuity mistake: The snake that bites - and therefore kills - Prof. Greenwood (and which is later found by Crabtree and Higgins) has nothing to do with the one Dr. Bajjali puts on her shoulders or the one Dr. Grace dissects later on, despite they are supposed to be the very same snake. The first one is seemingly a King cobra, while the other one resembles a Python (which is not even venomous). The visual difference is totally obvious.

Common mistakes

Factual error: Many times in movies, we can see the hero running into a burning building or approaching a burning vehicle to save someone, then escape from the flames with only a few black coal spots on his face. In reality, the extreme heat would make it impossible for an unprotected person to get THAT close to fiercely burning fire. Even if he can overcome his natural instinct, the pain from hot air would be unbearable (it's nearly as excruciating as direct burning) and leave him with severe injuries.

Common mistakes

Factual error: In movies including fighter jet battle scenes, the pilot bailing out from a terminally damaged plane can walk away immediately after touching ground. In reality, emergency ejection is very stressful to the human body, even if trained. The least you can expect is back pain, dizziness, ringing ears and numb legs for days, but the pilot can even fall unconscious from the sudden shock while descending. EE is much more unpleasant and less heroic than usually depicted in films.

Common mistakes

Other mistake: In racing scenes, the protagonist usually has unfortunate disadvantages through the race (issues at the start, unplanned pit stops due to technical problems, etc...) and falls back drastically. Still, after having a sentimental flashback or hearing his girlfriend over the radio, the camera shows him changing into the top gear, pushing the throttle all the way down (the heck was he doing so far then?), and he catches the pack in a matter of seconds then overtakes all opponents with ease.

Murdoch Mysteries mistake picture

Glory Days - S8-E3

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the episode, during the final shootout, Murdoch ambushes an armed bad guy in the attic and jumps through the wooden wall with him. As they fall down, Murdoch's trademark hat spectacularly flies off his head, but in the next overhead cut - showing him and the bad guy lying on the ground - the hat is on his head again.
