Trivia: When RoboCop is in the police research room, he is searching through the computer for Emil's face. If you watch the scene in slow motion, the same 6 or so faces just keep coming up. Most of them are Clarence's gang members, (their faces appear whole each time we see them, and Emil's face appears in whole too at the start). Revealing mistake: When RoboCop storms out of the underground base to the police station, we cut to a scene in the police department. If you watch really closely, nobody actually moves in this scene for about three quarters of a second after the scene starts. People to look out for include the police officer on the far right standing beside a woman in a orange top, (only really noticible in the widescreen version), and the people behind their desks in the background. They are all still or posing, which is amusing to see before they all suddenly come to life. (01:02:14)

Revealing mistake: When RoboCop has his forearm cut off, you can see Robert Burke's arm covered in black material poking out from beind his back. The arm appears again a few times during this scene. (01:21:29)

Continuity mistake: RoboCop bends down to pick up the map at his feet, and he does so by scooping his hand underneath it and lifting it with his thumb and index finger, as it is lying flat on the ground. Yet when the camera angle changes to show RoboCop correcting his posture, the map is now rolled up and he is holding it in his hand, which is now in a fist position. (01:20:22)

Continuity mistake: When RoboCop goes back to the underground base, there is a wide shot of him looking around him, and there is nothing on the floor. RoboCop takes 4 steps infront of him and we are then shown a map right at his feet. It wasn't there a second ago. (01:20:13)

Trivia: At least two of the characters in RoboCop 3 are based on Frank Miller's, (the film's screenwriter), own comic-book creations. 'Otomo' the cyborg samurai, pays homage to his "Ronin" comic about a masterless samurai whose spirit is reanimated with futuristic biotechnology. 'Bertha Washington', CCH Pounder's freedom fighter in the film, is a reference to Martha Washington, the freedom fighter from Miller's "Give Me Liberty."

Continuity mistake: Niko would easily have been burned by RoboCop's flight pack when she was hanging off it at the end. It isn't that big and Niko's legs would easily have gone down and past the flame holes. (01:31:33)

Plot hole: It seems strange that RoboCop carries Marie out of the building in his arms, and lets Niko, a little girl, hang onto the back of him. When he is flying, it would have took an awful amount of strength to hang onto him, when he is travelling so fast and high in the air. (01:31:33)

Revealing mistake: When Lewis is shooting at RoboCop 2 she quickly runs as RoboCop 2 aims for her. He shoots at the car behind her, and if you look closely at the boot lid, you can see slight dents made by the crew so that they can make sparks come out of the boot when it is shot. (01:39:17)

Continuity mistake: When RoboCop 2 is shooting everyone he shoots a news reporter and camera man on top of a van. When we see them just before they get shot, the reporter is talking into his microphone, but his mouth isn't moving. (01:29:23)
