Correction: The line Biff says is "You caused $300 damage to my car you son of a bitch", he never addresses him as McFly. The TV-edited version might have changed the line, but that's not a movie mistake.

Chuck (2007)

Correction: This version of the Intersect had a bug in it that would erase the host's memory, so even though they were intended for Chuck, it is still a faulty version of the Intersect, and if not removed in time, it very well could have killed Morgan. Remember, the Intersect evolves as the show goes on.

Grimm (2011)

Revelation - S3-E13

Corrected entry: A plot-important jeep from Kansas is identified by its front license plate. It is a Kansas plate, but Kansas does not issue front license plates.

Correction: It's not that Kansas doesn't issue front license plates, they simply don't require them. Considering the show takes place in Oregon, which does require front plates, an out of state driver could be pulled over and cited for not having the front plate, so would have one.

Rubber Man - S1-E8

Corrected entry: Tate retrieving the rubber suit from the garbage can could not have happened because the spirits trapped in the house weren't allowed to go past the gate, and the garbage can was on the side of the road.

Correction: It is not the gate they cannot pass, it is the tree line (property line) If you notice when Violet tries to escape, she makes it past the gate but does not return until she is about to hit the street. It is also why Constance tries to get Addy to the tree lawn before she died, being on the property is enough to keep you there.

Heroes (2006)

Season 1 generally

Corrected entry: In some episodes Claire voluntarily hurts herself (like when she grabs a pan out of a hot oven or when she sticks her fingers down the sink disposal to grab something). She is obviously badly injured these two times but shows absolutely no signs of pain whatsoever. Later in season 1 when she tries to do the back tuck off the tower she breaks her leg and is in agonizing pain. Also Peter has this power too, and he shows signs of pain a couple of times throughout the season. Do they have pain or not?

sportsnumber8

Correction: They do have pain, at least in the earlier seasons. That being said, the more she does these things, the higher her tolerance for pain becomes. It isn't until Sylar takes her power that she becomes totally numb to pain, with the few exceptions of when her power is dormant.

Heroes (2006)

Powerless - S2-E11

Corrected entry: Even though Peter Petrelli doesn't fully trust Adam, he listens to every word he is saying. Even such a seriously illogical task as taking a long time opening the large, heavy vault door to get to the virus (which Adam wanted to release) instead of just walking through the vault door and destroying the virus inside quickly, without anyone near to harm.

Correction: This is a character decision. Peter does not know what is waiting for him on the other side of the vault door. He knows there are people who are against what him and Adam are doing. If he had entered without Adam, he may have run into the Haitian, who could take his powers away, leaving him trapped inside the vault.

Heroes (2006)

Hysterical Blindness - S4-E5

Corrected entry: Peter "catches" Emma's ability and loses his speed ability when he touches her, to keep her from being hit by the bus. Yet in one of the previous episodes, he shook hands with Samuel without losing his ability and gaining Samuel's.

Sereenie

Correction: Peter did not know that Emma had an ability, therefore did not harness his own ability. When he shook hands with Samuel, he was aware there were specials around so made a conscious error to "turn off" his ability. Notice at the end of the series, when he was also consciously aware, he did end up taking Samuel's ability.

Heroes (2006)

Season 3 generally

Corrected entry: When Hiro and Ando go to Daphne's apartment in France, they take her medal for 1st Place 100 yard dash in the 12th grade. When the eclipse comes, however, she said she had cerebral palsy up until a year ago when she gained her power at the first eclipse. Either this is an error or Daphne is still a teenager.

pagodakicks

Correction: The medal does not belong to Daphne, it was established that it belonged to Daphne's mother and Daphne kept it as a keepsake.

Show generally

Corrected entry: When Violet tries to leave the house, it becomes apparent that she can't because she's dead. If that's true, then why was Tate able to go to the beach with her, even though he was dead too?

Naya Waters

Correction: It was Halloween when they went to the beach, it was established that the ghosts are free to roam anywhere on Halloween, but will return to the house as soon as Halloween is over. This is why on that same day they went to the beach and Hayden was arrested, she disappeared out of the back of the car and returned to the house.

ctown28

Show generally

Corrected entry: (Spoiler) Since Tate is a ghost, and therefore doesn't have health insurance or a bank account, how does he pay for his therapy sessions with Ben? It doesn't make sense that Ben would be doing pro bono work due to his family's dire financial condition.

Correction: It was revealed that Constance is Tate's mother, she even speaks to Ben on the phone about him. She is aware that he is dead but is also aware that he needs therapy. She is the one paying for the sessions.

Family Ties (1982)

The Harder They Fall - S2-E3

Corrected entry: Mr. Tedesco tells Elyse he had Mallory in his class "last year." Considering Mallory is two years younger than Alex and that this was "last year", even if Alex is now a senior, Mallory would have been in the 9th grade at the time she was in Tedesco's class. Most likely she wasn't in high school quite yet, as schools in the 80's were 10th though 12th grade.

Correction: This is incorrect. I graduated in the 80's and high school was 9-12.

ctown28

Even though nowadays it's more common to find high school as being 9th-12th grade practically everywhere, it probably depends on what area geographically in the 80s you were in. In my town, ALL high schools were 10th-12th all over the city for many years until around the late 90s when it changed. So it is a draw as if this entry was technically right or wrong.

Considering the show was set in Columbus, Ohio I'm also in Ohio, all Ohio high schools were all 9-12. This would make things even for varsity sports teams in state playoff competition.

ctown28

OK. I'll give you that one. My high school was in California in the 80s.

King Kong (1933)

Correction: Lots of people named John are referred to as Jack. The most famous perhaps is John F Kennedy was often referred to as Jack Kennedy.

ctown28

Corrected entry: When the tricycle rolls into Kristen's room in the beginning of the dream she pulls Nancy into, there is a cork board on the wall with push-tacks in it. It would be assumed that a girl admitted into an institution for "attempted suicide" would not be allowed to have anything she could potentially harm herself with in her room. (00:19:25)

KomiChameleon

Correction: Because this is something that is happening in the dream world, it can't be considered a mistake.

The Naked Gun (1988)

Corrected entry: Victor Ludwigs beeper device was designed simply to temporarily hypnotize the wearer and make them carry out whatever command he had inserted. It was not designed to turn them into full on villains. So the reaction of the Doctor at the Hospital (after being distracted, fighting off frank and fleeing halfway across town in a fully conscious state) is totally ludicrous.

Gavin Jackson

Correction: First off, we were never given a full explanation of what the device can and can't do. second, of course it's ludicrous, have you watched any of the other gags in this type of movie?

ctown28

Corrected entry: When talking to Gabriel, McClane covers the camera with his hand and asks the Warlock to locate him, only to be told that covering the lens does not deactivate the microphone. So if Gabriel is aware that an attempt is being made to locate his position, why doesn't he take any measures? Especially when he sees McClane bursting out of the basement?

Correction: This is a character mistake not a movie mistake. It shows Gabrielle's arrogance in the fact he thinks nobody will be able to locate him.

Ocean's Thirteen (2007)

Corrected entry: Danny and Rusty mention the Flamingo, the Sands, and the Desert Inn which were three of the five casinos robbed in the 1960 version of "Ocean's 11." The other two aren't mentioned because they still exist and the characters were only mentioning how the strip had changed.

Correction: This is not entirely true, the Flamingo still exists to this day, I stayed there myself recently.
