Question: In the film they find Jimmy Hoffa's body, but who is he? I've never heard of him.
Answer: Hoffa was the powerful and controversial leader of the Teamsters Union from 1957 to 1971. Often alleged to have ties to organized crime, Hoffa was convicted of fraud and jury tampering in 1964 and served four years in prison before his sentence was commuted by President Nixon. In 1975, while trying to regain power in the union, Hoffa disappeared from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was widely assumed to have been killed by the Mafia. His body was never found, and in 1983 he was declared legally dead. Many movies joke of this, because to this day, his body has not been recovered.

Question: What was the whole pancakes scene about with Dennis? I just don't understand it.
Answer: The writer saw the boy's martial arts skills and wrote in that part just for him to be in the movie.
Answer: I don't know if this will help or not but there is a scene close to the end where Paul is in the hospital. He is being wheeled in on a stretcher and he goes past a room that shows a person in a giant rabbit costume offering some pancakes to Dennis.

Question: When was there a Mini Shaguar? It could have just not been used in the American version, but I also may have missed it.
Chosen answer: In a trailer shown on the Infinifilm DVD, Verne Troyer stars with lots of little people which looks to parody the trailer from the first film. In the end, he flips into the Mini-Shaguar.

Joy Ride (2001)
Question: Could someone please explain the ending of this movie? Am I right when I conclude that Rusty Nail planted the Ice Truck guy's body in the driver's seat and then got away leaving cops to think the Ice Truck guy was the killer? I think I'm missing something here because that ending would be ridiculously unrealistic. Thank you.
Chosen answer: That's exactly what happened leaving room for the sequel, if they make one.
But the kidnapped girl-Charlotte-would have told the police what Rusty Nail did and what he looked like. And, since Rusty Nail would have fled on foot, he would have been easy to find. Also, in order to pull off this stunt, Rusty Nail would have needed to find a way to floor the gas pedal. Finally, it would be easy for the police to identify who owned the truck Rusty Nail crashed into the motel. He either owned it or the owner of the truck knew who was driving it.

Question: Can anybody tell me the name of the song that it played right at the opening? It's not on the soundtrack and I can't find it anywhere else. Plus, I'd also be really happy to know the song that is played when Rome and Brian get into the bar, because it's not on the soundtrack either, but still rocks.
Answer: If you are talking about the one that is played while the Universal logo is still on, it is 'Like A Pimp' by David Banner. As far as the other one, try www.imdb.com and search for this movie. When you get there, go to 'soundtrack listing' and it will display a list of every song played in the movie, whether it was on the soundtrack or not.

Question: In Roger Ebert's review, he says "...Mathayus intones, 'As long as one of us still breathes, the sorcerer will die.' See if you can spot the logical loophole." I can't - what's the problem with that line?
Chosen answer: By the way Mathayus is saying it, it sounds like he is saying as long as him or the sorcerer still breathes, either he or the sorcerer will die, but he is trying to say as long as one of the Akkadians are breathing, they will not stop trying to kill the sorcerer until he is dead.

Question: What does it mean when Bruce is live from the Maid of the Mist and one of the audio guys says "We've got a Walt Disney"? (00:15:10)
Answer: There is an urban myth that Walt Disney froze himself so he return unfrozen in the future. At the Maid of the Mist, Bruce is frozen from shock. If you listen to another audio guy after the first one says we got a Walt Disney, he says he is frozen solid, telling what it means to have a Walt Disney.

Ice Age (2002)
Question: In the beginning of the scene with the dodos, there is one dodo who shouts "Prepare for the ice age." Does anyone know who he is or what other movies he's been in? His voice is so familiar that I'm sure he's done another cartoon character's voice, but I can't remember who it is.
Answer: There are four people who do the voice for the dodos. They are Peter Ackerman, P.J. Benjamin, Josh Hamilton, and Chris Wedge (who also voiced Scrat and directed the movie). I checked their backgrounds, but I did not see any previous cartoons done by them. Also, of the four, it is possible you have seen Josh Hamilton or heard him before, because he has been in quite a few films, but I am not sure he is the one who voiced the dodo who said prepare for the ice age.

Question: When Mark is watching a video in which he views himself being swallowed by a random monstrosity, he says, "I love you Eddie." Now, I took it as a reference to the "Eddie" that was part of a famous Iron Maiden stage show back in the eighties. A friend of mine took it as him (Mark) being thankful for his friend, Eddie, giving him the drug inbibed brownies that he was eating. Which was it?
Answer: I'm pretty sure it was the Eddie that gave him the brownies, because the band we see that is onstage at the time is Gwar, if I am not mistaken. They were famous for having a monster onstage that would 'eat' fans.
Yeah, cause Eddie gave him the pot brownies that made him hallucinate being in a Gwar show, so he's thanking him.
