Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: When the people rush out of the pool when the police arrive the water is wildly agitated. A moment later, when Taylor's brother slowly goes back into the water it is totally calm. (00:48:30)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: When a photographer takes a shot of a black girl bumping into Peejoe their movement is halted to indicate the moment when the picture is taken, and they look into opposite directions. Then the picture is shown, and here they both look into the camera. (00:48:00)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: When the black community marches to the pool in broad daylight you hear Taylor's father's speech at the poolside already in voice-over. Then it cuts over to the arrival at the pool, and it is totally dark. The plot doesn't suggest that the march was interrupted somewhere. (00:45:40)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Continuity mistake: When Lucille and Harry Hall drive up the mountains and stop at a vista point they drive across a stretched, rather even area. When the camera angle changes there is a hill behind the car, and there is no road or even dirt road where they came from. (01:03:50)

Crazy in Alabama (1999)

Revealing mistake: Check the scene in slow motion when Peejoe's eye gets damaged by a stone flying off from a lawn mower. The eye doesn't get hurt in the shot when it is hit by the stone, and a close-up shot of the flying stone is reversed, i.e. it's actually flying into and not out of the lawn mower, in an angle where it couldn't be just popping up and down.
