Trivia: Near the end, in the middle of the maze, there are raised circles on the ground, the outside circle the biggest, and onto the next, smaller circle and so on. Similar circles feature in "Hellboy", also directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Continuity mistake: The Captain has a piece of gauze on his wounded cheek, and over time, the gauze has a small amount of blood, to a lot, back to a little, and back and forth.
