Continuity mistake: Right after the monkey knocks Jack's hat off, there is a shot of the monkey on the rigging. The moonlight is shining on him, but he looks completely normal. Shouldn't he be cursed? It's not dawn, the next shot is a time lapse, as evidenced by the fact that the Pearl had moved far enough away from Jack's hat that the other ship didn't see it. (00:17:05)

Continuity mistake: In the chess room Henry knocks over the table while he is arguing with Sam (after Leon leaves), in the very next shot the table is back standing up with the chess board and pieces still on it.

Suggested correction: It's intentional since it's all just a remake of Henry Letham's mind, like a dream, while he is dying.

Continuity mistake: When the mother is being poisoned shortly after giving birth, we see a toe tag on her right big toe; in the next shot, the toe tag has moved to her left foot.

Continuity mistake: In the very last scene when River and the Captain are flying the ship, Mal presses a button causing it to light up. In the next shot the light is off, and in the next shot it is back on again.
