Continuity mistake: When Lyra is walking through the palace to meet King Ragnar of the Ice Bears, there are a great many bears all around her, with a few following her right up to the king. She gets to the king, and when the shot pans out to the hall, suddenly all the other bears are gone. Even if they all left the hall, it would take more than a second or two to do so.

Continuity mistake: When the tunnel caves in as a result of the explosion, the cars about to enter it come to a stop in almost a straight line. When Stallone gets out of his limo, the cars are now scattered everywhere. Then, when he goes back later to the collapsed entrance, the cars are not only in different positions, but some have changed in make and model as well.

Continuity mistake: When Conrad is at the swim meet, he has on a red plaid shirt under a gray sweater. When he arrives back at his grandmother's house, he has a white with thin blue stripes shirt and a beige sweater, and there is nothing to indicate that he stopped along the way.

Continuity mistake: During the restaurant scene, the straw in Karen's hands starts unwrapped, then becomes wrapped, and then suddenly jumps into the Coke.

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Dittmeyer is sitting on the toilet, just before the floor collapses, when seen from his point of view, there is a lot of debris and other objects around the base of the toilet. From the wide shot, when the floor collapses, most of the objects are gone.

Continuity mistake: When Bond and the others board the train in Istanbul, they board the train at the rear which shows passenger coaches. When the train does not stop at the scheduled rendezvous because Kerim has been killed, the passing rear of the train contains freight cars. When Bond and Tatiana escape from the train, the departing shot of the rear of the train shows passenger cars again. (01:04:40 - 01:13:05)
