Continuity mistake: At one point, the Timekeeper threatens the spies by extending a blade from his arm. When the shot shows the Timekeeper, the blade looks like an ordinary sword, but when the shot changes to show our heroes, the blade looks like a clock hand. This happens twice in the scene.

The camera instantly cuts to his shield, and it is already sitting in a very large pool of blood, and is starting to dissolve. There was no time lapse, so there was no time for the pool of blood to have expanded that far.

After Kirk shakes Pike's hand, and the camera pans up and back, the California flag is hanging significantly different so that it is no longer recognizable, seeming almost blank white. As the ceremony is indoors and all attending are standing motionless, this flag should not have moved. (01:56:25)
