Question: Near the beginning of the movie, Fletcher can't lie and tries saying the word that sounds like "sight-ull". Why can't he say "Settle"? Just saying "Settle!" is a command or suggestion. It isn't telling a lie about something.

Question: Why does the Joker keep licking his lips? Is it just a tick he has?

Question: This movie baffled me, so can someone please provide me with answers to the following questions? 1) Was the detective in on this game from the very beginning of the Saw movies? 2) I thought Jigsaw died in the fourth installment, how did he survive that? 3) Was the last trap set for the detective designed because he knew he would put the other detective in the box, thus saving his life, but he was to get crushed to death? I just didn't get the ending.

Question: When Inspector Gadget is lying on the table with the Claw watching over him, Gadget says that Claw will never get away with this. Then Claw says, "I think someone's been watching too many Saturday morning cartoons", and then everyone looks up at the camera confused/surprised. Can any one explain what the joke is here?

Question: I don't understand the flow of the film at all; at the beginning, Jigsaw's dead body is in the autopsy room and Hoffman is present. Yet at the end of the film, Strahm has only just discovered Jigsaw's body in the position he died in in the third film. Consequently, I don't see how the beginning of the fifth film makes much sense either. Help?

That said, can someone answer this, please. Right before the lamp breaks, and right after Ralphie's mom fills her watering can in the sink, it really sounds like the "old man" yells, "You platypus nut-grabber". Is that what he's saying? I realize most of his "swearing" is actually nonsensical words and rants.

Question: The original Hostel film had 3 different prices (can't remember them exactly but it was one price for local, slightly more expensive for Asian and very expensive for American). However this film sends pictures to clients' phones and starts an auction. Anyone know why this one is different when it's supposed to be the same operation?

Question: How does Hoffman manage to get out of the glass box after Strahm is crushed to death?

A movie question. I thought that when a movie goes straight to DVD/video/Blue Ray instead of being shown in theaters first, it's because critics gave it very bad reviews. However, there are some movies that continue to have several sequels coming out on DVD, such as the Beethoven dog movies and the Bring It On movies. Why do movie companies continue to produce them when the previous two or three sequels didn't make it to the theaters?

I am looking for the title of a made for TV movie (Lifetime) which Tina Yothers was in. I remember that she was tried out for a cheerleading squad and did not make it but she told her parents that she did. She actually was like the assistant or something. But then her parents came to her school to see her cheer and the whole squad locks one of the mean cheerleaders in a closet so that she can cheer for that game. Does this sound familiar? I remember a small scene when the squad was taking a group picture and they all had on white uniforms and the mean cheerleader shows up in her red uniform so that she could stand out in the picture.

Question: There are two scenes in this movie where a man almost gets hit, first by a knife in the O'Connell's home, and the other in the museum, where he is shot at by a shot gun. In both scenes it's the same man, and he gives a kind of smug look before diving out the way to let someone else get hit. Any significance in this actor always surviving?

Question: Although some of Bruce Banner's blood falls into one of the soda bottles when he's working in the factory, the movie never explains what happens to that specific bottle. Can we assume that it gets exported to the United States and someone eventually drinks it? Will this tie into the plot for the sequel?

Question: Where did the bad guys get the cigarettes, paper, beer, gasoline, and water. All of the guys said they've never seen land, so how did they get this stuff?

Question: Does Chip really have as many siblings as there are cups in the kitchen? Seems a bit too many, and also they aren't seen as real children at the end of the movie.

Question: Did that woman really manage to put that huge sausage down her throat or was it really good cgi?

Question: I've seen this movie many times, however I noticed something different when I was it on TV in the UK recently. In the cargo hold, Riggs is dodging in and out of cover behind shipping containers and shooting bad guys. In the TV version I saw, as Riggs breaks his cover and walks forward shooting we hear a voice-over from Riggs, repeating the names of those victims killed by the South Africans ending with Rika and Vicki. I have never noticed this before in any of the DVD / VHS releases. I checked my DVD and no voice-over. Am I going mad?

I'm looking for this movie I saw when I was a kid, it's possibly made in the 80's, maybe even earlier. In the beginning, this kid who is home alone is on the phone with his friend and he hears something in his house that distracts him. So he puts the phone down to go look and there's this miniature red car in his living room along with this machine thing. He gets in and starts looking in the car and it had these tokens that he was supposed to put in the machine, which he does and he somehow goes through this portal in which I'm pretty sure he turns into an animation and has this whole adventure as a cartoon boy, which I can't remember any part of. Anyway, in the end he comes back and his friend is still on hold. He picks up the phone and starts to tell his friend about this long adventure and the friend is confused and says that he's only been on hold for a couple seconds, or something to that affect. Any info will help, nobody I've told has heard of this and thinks I'm crazy. Thanks.

I am looking for the name of a made-for-TV movie that started with the words "The Rape of ___", about a police detective who has a very cavalier attitude about rape until he is cornered in a basement by two criminals (and is without backup) and is taunted and raped by these men. The movie deals with his emotional/psychological problems as a result of his ordeal. The actor that played the lead role should have received an award, but I don't think he did and have never seen the movie again.
