Poltergeist (1982)

Corrected entry: In the opening sequence, when Dana is in bed and hears Carol Anne say, "Hello, I can't hear you", for some reason there is a prosthetic leg lying across Dana's bed. (00:03:45)

mightymick

Correction: It's just Dana's leg.

Yup, she just has it at an awkward angle, but it's 100% her leg. Not sure how the OP thought it was a prosthetic leg to begin with. There's literally no reason for a prosthetic leg to be in the shot when they could easily use the actress' leg, and it looks far too real to be a prosthetic from an 80's movie.

Dirty Harry (1971)

Corrected entry: Scorpio is not charged with any crime due to inadmissible evidence. There is no reason why he could not have been charged with assault on a police officer, and with shoot to kill a police officer, given he assaulted Harry and shot Chico, who both were witnesses.

mightymick

Correction: Everything about that night is tainted evidence and therefore not admissible, but not only that, the DA wasn't willing to try to prosecute on any crime because of Harry's actions.

Bishop73

Scorpio's face was covered with a ski mask so Harry or Chico couldn't identify him for assaulting or shooting a police officer. I did find a 1997 constitutional law paper from the University of Chicago (Dirty Harry and the Real Constitution, Michael Stokes Paulsen) that argues Scorpio could be tried and convicted.

Corrected entry: On the morning the family leaves for Florida, there is a wide-shot of the house. In the next shot, one of the airport vans hits the statue out the front of the house, this statue was not there in the previous shot.

mightymick

Correction: The statue is there the whole time, but in the first wide shot it's blocked by the lamp with the red bow on it. If you look close enough, you'll see the hand of the statue sticking out to the right of the bow.

Jaws 4 (1987)

Corrected entry: Hoagie, Michael and Jake are aware that the shark is present. Yet Hoagie lands the plane in the sea and Michael and Jake get out and swim to the boat.

mightymick

Correction: You've never landed a plane next to a boat in the sea, which they actually did a sea landing and the pilot did a good job to, doing that next to the boat was to dangerous and you would need an exceptionally good pilot. Hoagie also says that the plane would attract the shark giving them plenty of time to make the short swim. Everything in that scene story wise was a huge gamble.

Correction: There was another way to save Ellen. They could have landed closer to the boat. Then they could climb on the plane, walk on its wing and jump onto the boat. Swimming to the boat was way too risky.

Correction: How else were they going to save Ellen?

Corrected entry: At Bob's Country Bunker, the Blues Brothers notice chicken wire between them and the audience. So how is it possible for Jake to be able to whip items out of audience members' hands during the playing of "Rawhide"? (01:06:10 - 01:09:20)

mightymick

Correction: He never whips anything out of anybody's hand. Only a cigarette from a girl who is obviously standing backstage at Bob's, by the stage curtain.

Batman (1989)

Corrected entry: The Joker publicly announces on television that he will be throwing a huge parade through the streets of the city. So this would be a great opportunity for the police department to apprehend the Joker and his henchmen. Instead, when the parade takes place there is not one police officer seen anywhere.

mightymick

Correction: The joker doesn't announce where the parade was, and from the reactions of the police officers in the bar when he announces this suggests they'd be more interested in getting some money than stopping the Joker.

Child's Play (1988)

Corrected entry: On the morning of Andy's birthday, his mother says he is two years old. Andy looks 6 or 7 years old at the time, he is certainly not two.

mightymick

Correction: Karen meant that in a playful way, as if she were guessing how old Andy is.

Magnum Force (1973)

Corrected entry: The bomb planted in Harry's mailbox is set to explode when the mailbox is opened. So why does it need a timer attached to it?

mightymick

Correction: As a backup detonator.

Sudden Death (1995)

Corrected entry: Agent Hallmark makes two appearances after he has already been killed. One minute after the game has been sent into sudden death, we see Hallmark standing outside the stadium, and we see him again near the end when people are running out of the stadium - having already been killed.

mightymick

Correction: There were 2 black cops. Not 1. You saw the other cop.

SAZOO1975

Corrected entry: After the family moves, Charlie, Lorraine, Jake, Mark, Kim, Jessica and Mike are all shown going to school. But for some reason, Henry and Sarah are not.

mightymick

Correction: They do not go to school with the others because Charlie and Lorraine are in high school and Jake, Mark, Kim, Jessica and Mike are in elementary. It is quite feasible that Henry and Sarah are in middle school and we just don't see them at school.

kristenlouise3

Corrected entry: When John and the Terminator arrive at Dyson's house following the shooting, John calls Danny, Dyson's son, by his name and tells him to show him his room. But Danny's name has not been spoken anywhere John could have heard it. (01:36:40)

mightymick

Correction: Sarah has taught John many things that most kids wouldn't know at that age. The T-800 says that he has information on Dyson's family since he was a major factor in the creation of Skynet. We don't see how and when they obtain his address, but they obviously do so off screen, so we can assume they learned Danny's name at that time as well.

The Fugitive (1993)

Corrected entry: Before Dr. Nichols makes his speech, the host introduces him as Dr. Charles Lentz. Lentz was the surname of the other doctor who was killed in a car accident.

mightymick

Correction: He is introduced as Charles Nicholls.

No he's not! Watch it over! He is introduced wrongly.

I just watched it. He is introduced as "Dr. Charles Nichols."

Correction: This doesn't happen at all. The speaker is introduced as Dr Charles Nichols. This entry is simply wrong.

Face/Off (1997)

Corrected entry: Castor Troy has the surgeon and other two witnesses killed in a fire to prevent anyone from knowing the identity between him and Archer had been switched. However, when the surgeon performed the operation, he had several assistants helping him, none of whom were killed in the fire. Which means other people knew about this.

mightymick

Correction: Just because we don't see them killed on screen, doesn't mean they weren't killed. Troy could easily have murdered them at their homes or killed them in another room at the medical center.

Jaws 2 (1978)

Corrected entry: When Michael and Sean are watching Chief Brody climbing down the ladder of the lookout tower, to Michael's left, the camera is reflected on the door of the beach house which Michael is painting. (00:44:45)

mightymick

Correction: If you look closely, what looks like the camera's reflection is really red paint.

mightymick

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the big chase, the Good Ol' Boys are driving a long Winnebago. When their driver says he has a problem, we see their view as they weave through the surrounding police cars. There is no way a vehicle that long could weave through cars that close at such a high rate of speed without colliding with any of them. (01:43:25)

mightymick

Correction: And yet, all of the movie's stunts were real - no CGI involved. Evidently, if they weaved through the cars without hitting them, it actually happened.

Jaws (1975)

Corrected entry: When Hooper sees Ben Gardner's head, he drops the torch, knife and tooth. In the shot from underneath, only the torch and knife are seen sinking to the bottom, the tooth is nowhere to be seen. (00:48:00)

mightymick

Correction: The tooth can be seen zigzagging around below the hull of Ben Gardner's boat. It just doesn't sink to the bottom as quickly as the torch and knife do.

Jaws (1975)

Corrected entry: The movie is made and set in 1974. The reward sign on the wall at the town meeting says Alex Kintner was killed on Sunday, June 29. A check of the 1974 calendar reveals June 29 was a Saturday, not Sunday. (00:17:30)

mightymick

Correction: Jaws was released and set in 1975, in which year June 29 was a Sunday. Regardless, the date the movie is set can't be automatically assumed to be the same as the year of release anyway.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: Just before Jack and Rose return to Cal's room in the scene where Jack is framed for stealing the necklace, Cal says he wants the entire room photographed. Was someone forgetting that this movie is set in 1912, a time when photography was extremely low-key to what it is today?

mightymick

Correction: What does that have to do with anything? Low-key or not, Cal was rich and if he wanted it all photographed, he could get his wish anytime.

Sereenie

Correction: Yes, and furthermore, I'm sure the police had cameras by this point in time. As you recall, at the end of the movie when old Rose was lying in her bed on the ship, they panned over photos from when she was much, much, much younger.

The Mighty Ducks (1992)

Corrected entry: When Gordon first meets the players, Goldberg tells him he will not be on the team much longer because he is moving away. However, this never happens, and no explanation is ever given.

mightymick

Correction: So where's the mistake? We never go home with Goldberg so how would we ever know what's going on in his personal life?

Prison Break (2005)

Riots, Drills and the Devil: Part 1 - S1-E6

Corrected entry: Michael rescues Sara by crawling through a pipe leading into the infirmary. Later in the series Michael must find another way to get inside the infirmary, because the way he planned to go could not be used. So surely the prisoners could have used this way to get inside the infirmary. There is no reason why Michael could not have even thought of going this way given he had used it before. It would have been much easier and not as risky going this way rather than through the prison yard and corridors. This could have been Michael's plan to get inside the infirmary from the beginning.

mightymick

Correction: Sara wasn't at the infirmary during the riots, but in sick bay: a different part of the prison complex in a whole other building.
