Visible crew/equipment: When the fellowship are in the tomb they spot the orcs coming so they lock the doors. When it does a close up from the outside you can see the shadow of the camera on the bottom left of the left door. (00:28:20)

Trivia: The name 'Wendy' was popularised for girls by the play of Peter Pan - JM Barrie adapted it from the way a neighbour's daughter mispronounced "friend." Audio problem: When Lando is inside the Death Star we see a shot of him scraping the side of some metal. Then he says "That was too close." His voice has the same echo applied to it as the sound effects in the narrow metal tunnel. For unknown reasons this mistake wasn't even fixed in the DVD.

Continuity mistake: When Charlie is chasing Goldberg down the road on his roller blades we see him jump over the car - when he lands you can see him fall over but the shot changes before he completely falls over. This happens when they jump off the bridge too.

Chosen answer: When the two Orcs were fighting in the tower where Frodo was being kept, the larger one shoved the smaller one down the stairwell to a lower level. He then yelled down that the smaller Orc tried to kill him, so they should kill the smaller Orc. From that brawl an Orc was pushed out a window down to yet, another lower level. This spurred another brawl below...a chain reaction, in other words. Also, there were two companies of orcs in the tower so there was a natural rivalry already present - much like when the orcs and uruk-hai that captured Merry and Pippin fought amongst themselves. Finally, the power of the ring had an effect.
