Chance (2002)

Trivia: This film features five stars of Joss Whedon's "Buffyverse": writer/director/star Amber Benson (Tara Maclay), James Marsters (Spike), Andy Hallett (Lorne), Jeff Rickets (Watcher's Council member), and David Fury (producer/writer/occasional cameos). Emma Caulfield (Anya) also filmed scenes, but they were accidentally taped over and never re-shot, while Tressa DiFiglia is the ex-wife of Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris).

21 Jump Street (1987)

Trivia: While most of the scenes from the "on the next Arrested Development" epilogues don't appear in subsequent episodes, they are still considered part of the show's canon.

Grey's Anatomy (2005)

Trivia: In season three, the woman whom Michael thinks is his sister Nellie is played by Jason Bateman's real-life sister Justine. Likely a reference to the sitcom Justine co-starred on in the 1980s, she appears in the episode "Family Ties".

Insomnia (2002)

Question: Throughout the film, there are segues which feature blood seeping through what looks like some kind of fabric. Does that represent anything, and if so, what?

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: It represents Al Pacino's character planting evidence on men he knew were guilty. He was planting the victim's blood on their clothes so the evidence would be stronger against them.

In addition, there is a repeated scene where someone (Dormer) is wiping something on or off a fabric.

24: Redemption (2008)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jack asks Willie to help him reload the wheelbarrow, after "accidentally" dumping the contents out, Jack struggles to load a bag with two hands, but Willie is able to lift one relatively easily, one-handed.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Question: I know this is bound to be a major point of debate (and I don't mean to imply it's the only reason he did), but with the recent Oscar ceremony, would Heath Ledger still have won if he hadn't died?

Cubs Fan

Chosen answer: While there is no real way to know the true answer to your question, in my opinion yes he would. Other actors have been nominated posthumously in the past but not won.

24: Redemption (2008)

Character mistake: When Allison Taylor arrives at the White House, a Secret Service agent greets her as "Madam President". Since she hasn't been sworn in yet, he should know to address her as "Madam President-elect".

24: Redemption (2008)

Continuity mistake: When Roger Taylor talks to his friend Chris on the phone, there is a cut to a split screen. In the left box, Roger turns to his right to glance at his girlfriend, but in the right box, he turns to his left. (00:22:50)

Tru Calling (2003)

Show generally

Plot hole: Gardez and Michelle Carey both disappear with no explanation. While Gardez's disappearance benefits the plot, in order to introduce Jack, there's never any mention of why he's gone, be it personal/medical leave, reassignment, etc. Ditto Michelle: she was so determined to learn the truth about Tru, so her disappearance doesn't make sense.

Enough - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: When Davis talks to Avery about death, his hand moves in four consecutive shots from his temple, to his upper lip, to his chin, to his arms folded in front of his chest. (00:09:55)
