Continuity mistake: While chasing the dragon, a laser beam destroys a Brooklyn Bridge road sign, and the car drives past it. An immediate aerial angle shows the sign on the road, but the car is suddenly metres behind, driving towards it.

Revealing mistake: When the little robot is pursuing the ghost dragon, there's a group of bystanders watching the filming. One of them, on the far left, wearing a white T-shirt, is even recording everything with his phone. Sure it could be part of the movie, but the man is taking a picture at the point where the camera and film goes team are not where the dragon is. (00:06:53)

Continuity mistake: During the first bust of the dragon ghost, there's a tissue paper on the dashboard of the police car that disappears between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the movie begins, the Ectomobile drives by Cole Haan and continues to speed through Manhattan. When the manhole flies upwards, the car is suddenly next to Cole Haan again. This also happens with other locations that the car drives by twice.

Continuity mistake: The name tag on Podcast's uniform is always hand-written. When he puts on the scarf to start the final battle, it still is hand-written. When he shows up to smash the cables box, it's now a black and red sewn name, just like the rest of the Ghostbusters' uniforms. According to Ghostbusters Fandom there's a deleted scene where Ray gives Podcast an official name patch. Continuity mistake: When Manhattan starts to freeze, the car speeds through the streets with Callie and Phoebe in the copilot's seat. In the close-ups, one can see that the place is empty. In some shots, there's a shadow of a bulky object, maybe a dummy of some sort, but it's definitely not the two actors.

Deliberate mistake: When Phoebe is about to destroy the lion statue, police cars arrive at the scene. Barely a second and a half later, suddenly the place is filled with cops who have managed to park the cars, step out, take positions, and aim. It speeds up the action of the film, but it's very awkward.

Continuity mistake: When Stantz finds the trash bag on the lion statue, the tip of the bag and the knot hang way over the edge of the base. An instant cut later, they are several centimetres behind.

Continuity mistake: When Venkman interviews Nadeem, the position of the pens in the glass swaps between aligned and messed up.

Continuity mistake: When Venkman questions Nadeem, he says "Hypothetical" and raises a pen. From the immediate angle from behind, it's lowered.

Continuity mistake: When Nadeem is being interviewed, the strap on the left (our right) is behind his ear in the front shots, or placed in front of the ear in the angles shot from behind.

Revealing mistake: When Gary is being interviewed at the end, Slimer and the Dragon fly over them and away. However, Gary keeps staring at the entrance door; seemingly, the cue didn't work here. A shot later, from a different angle, he is suddenly looking ahead.

Continuity mistake: When the Ghostbusters win the final battle and face the Mayor, Winston's hand is on his shoulder or not, depending on the shot. This swaps back and forth.

Continuity mistake: When Harold's widow places the watch on the table, check the painted pattern, and you'll notice that the watch changes position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Mayor Walter Peck is questioning the group, Phoebe has nobody on the left. An instant cut later, Callie is standing right next to her. This swaps back and forth.

Continuity mistake: After the car stops near City Hall Park, its position differs completely between the first and second shot, plus dark skid marks suddenly appear, despite the car not moving.
