Revealing mistake: When the volcano erupts, it's obviously a painting because the lava doesn't flow or move an inch.

Continuity mistake: In order to stop the eruption, Superman flies towards a mountain. Watch the central part of it and you'll notice that the wide and close shots are of completely different mountains. The volcano also swaps from having smoke to exploding between frames.

Continuity mistake: When in the subway, Superman is standing by a 6 foot poster of the Statue of Liberty. When the shot changes to a flying Superman, he is a third of his size and the poster is huge.

Other mistake: Nuclear Man is shown blowing up the Great wall twice, but it's the same shot reversed.

Revealing mistake: When Superman flies towards the volcano, the scene of the eruption he is superimposed on is exactly the same one we saw 2 minutes earlier.

Continuity mistake: Before Superman rebuilds the Great Wall, he flies up with a woman in his arms. He flies past a stone arch and starts to descend. However, the following angle shows him yards behind descending right by the center of the arch.

Continuity mistake: During the volcano scene, a girl is holding on to the priest's arm at wrist level. A split of a second later her grip changes to above the elbow level.
