Question: One of the mistakes lists that when Rose and Jack are running away from the water below decks, you can see the real faces of the stunt doubles they used. I have tried to find any differences in their faces but I cannot find it. How can you tell they are stunt doubles?

Mona Lisa Smile (2003)
Question: What does the title have to do with the story, other than the reference to a work of art? I know many people think that the real Mona Lisa has a mysterious smile, but does that have anything to do with the film?
Chosen answer: There is a short discussion (I believe between Kirsten Dunst and Julia Roberts) about things not always being what they seem. They are speaking about the girls' lives, but it also is symbolic of the Mona Lisa smile. Whether she is really smiling is left up to the person viewing the portrait: is she smiling because she is happy? Is she trying to cover up grief/sorrow? Is she smiling at all?

Forrest Gump (1994)
Question: When Forrest is introducing the members of his Platoon in Vietnam all of the character names are the names of cities, he then tells where each solider is from but their hometown is different then their nick name. (for example "Dallas from Phoenix") why would each person have a name of a city as their name?
Answer: This is just a bit of incidental humor. For example: Dallas is the young man's real name. Why would his parents name him Dallas if he was from Phoenix? Same with Cleveland.
Theyre just nicknames aren't they? Like Bubba.
Tex seems to be an obvious nickname, but Dallas and Cleveland are more than likely their real names since many people have those names.
Answer: Forest is mistaking their nicknames for their actual names, and misremembering where they were from. The soldiers are given nicknames based on where they are from. Tex from Texas, Dallas from Dallas. Etc. The funny bit is that Forest isn't putting it together.
There's nothing to indicate Dallas and Cleveland aren't their real names, just like Dan is his real name. The joke being he's remembering where those two are from but when it comes to Tex, an obvious nickname, he can't remember where he's from. Plus, why would a guy from Texas get the nickname Dallas and another guy from Texas get the nickname Tex and not the city he's from?

The Butterfly Effect (2004)
Question: I just saw the movie on DVD and I was kind of surprised when I saw that the ending was different than what I heard. In the movie, the ending was that Evan goes back and dies in his mothers stomach. However, I have heard from a friend and read in magazines that Evan lives and meets up again with the girl. I was wondering, why did i watch a different ending? Is it maybe cause i live in Europe?
Answer: The DVD has two sides, here in the US. One side is the Director's Cut with 6 additional minutes of footage (including the fortune teller scene), with the ending you saw. The other side is the Theatrical Cut, which was released in the cinemas here. SPOILER: The ending is that he goes back to when he first meets Kayleigh and says something to make her dislike him, therefore going to live with her mom and never see him again. At the very end, he passes her on the street, but they don't "get together".

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
Question: Can someone please tell me how old Ferris and Jeanie are? It seems that Ferris is a senior and that would make him about 17 or 18, but then why would Jeanie have a car if she was younger, especially since Ferris says that he asked for a car and didn't get it? If she was older, what would she still be doing in school?
Answer: They're twins.

Lost and Delirious (2001)
Question: I'm looking for the title and performer of one of the songs from "Lost and delirious"; it's played when Paulie is going to visit the bird for the first time, and then the same song is played again when the credits roll. I've tried most of the songs listed in the credits but I haven't found the one I'm looking for. Can anyone help me?
Answer: It is apparently an original work called 'Ensemble vocal d'Outremont' by Foley artist Jérome Décarire. Foley is the sound effects used in film and television production. For example, a foley library consists of a data bank of available sounds. A foley technician will create sounds that do not exist in the library.

The Powerpuff Girls (1998)
Question: The Episode titled The Rowdyruff Boys was banned from YTV in Canada. Why?
Answer: A representative for the broadcast company refused to say why, only that it was the "content" of the episode. A search of the term 'rowdyruff' on a search engine returns a multitude of XXX related sites. Perhaps this may lean to an explanation.

Bartlet's Third State of the Union - S2-E13
Question: The music heard as the theme tune to the political TV show ("Capital Beat") CJ appears on - is that heard in other US shows? Because here in Britain it's the music for the ITN "News at 10" (or was a while ago, at least). Just curious as to whether it's recognisable in the US.
Chosen answer: As a frequent watcher of the show, I have never heard the tune and thought, "That sounds familiar," so I would guess that it is not a theme song to any other shows (political or otherwise) here in the States.

Answer: It is not the faces of the stunt doubles, but the faces of the actors superimposed. It is very obvious when Rose is running in slow motion toward the camera with Jack behind her. The water is rising, and the lights are flickering. Her face is very pale, almost transparent, and seems "big" for her head. Also, the bobbing movements of her head don't exactly match that of the filming of the stunt double, which indicates the effects team did the best they could with Kate Winslet's face superimposed onto a different female with a different head shape.
