Saw III (2006)

Corrected entry: In the "twisting machine" scene, Jeff reaches for a key in a glass box. At the other end of the box is a shotgun, its trigger tied to the string that the key is on. The man removes the key but accidentally triggers the shotgun. The blast only grazes him, but it obliterates the judge standing behind him. Considering where both men were standing, Jeff should have got more of the blast than he did.

Correction: You can see Jeff moving away just in time not to be hit.

The Ringer (2005)

Corrected entry: The catholic priest bet money that Jeffy would win the Special Olympics. The priest never knew his name, confessions are confidential, Jeffy's name never came up, just the fact that he was acting mentally challenged. How could the priest know who to bet on?

Correction: The priest got a good look at Jeffy's face when he threw him out of the church, then he saw him on TV -- the Special Olympics are broadcast. That's how he found out who to bet on.

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, Tina's father rises out of the water and grabs Jason. The problem is he pretty much looks like he did when he died, it's several years later her father's body would be very decayed.

Correction: It's supposed to be the father's ghost, it's not the actual body of the father.

Correction: I remember hearing from several sources that the Studio decided to have him look freshly dead instead of all messed up.

Corrected entry: Many of the people that appear in the opening titles reappear as zombies later in the movie. The woman behind the till plays Mary, the 'girl in the garden', all the members of the bus queue appear somewhere, the nodding zombies reappear and take a bite out of Phillip's shoulder and the boy with the football is always outside Shaun's house.

Correction: Something this obvious is not really a trivia.

Blade: Trinity (2004)

Corrected entry: When Blade is chasing Drake through the apartments, Blade comes across a woman screaming, "He took my baby." This woman is black. Later on in the following scene on the roof, Drake throws the stolen baby into the air and Blade catches it. When Blade looks at the baby, it looks entirely white, and it has no hint of any black skin at all; in fact, the baby looks quite Asian.

Correction: For all we know the baby is adopted.

Corrected entry: The scene where the girl and her mother are in the store, the girl puts a huge piece of meat in the microwave - that is the strongest microwave I've ever seen, it took a mere 3 seconds to heat that up...

Correction: It didn't heat up the entire piece of meat. It was enough to heat the meat's surface for the flying shrieker to sense it.

Van Helsing (2004)

Corrected entry: When Anna and Van Helsing are tailing the werewolf, Anna sees some fur hanging on a tree. Anna tells Van Helsing that after the first full moon a person remains a werewolf forever. Earlier in the movie, there is a shadow of a werewolf chained to the wall. Obviously the Velkan werewolf since Velkan had killed the werewolf that bit him. Since this werewolf is Velkan then that means that his first full moon has occurred and he should be trapped in werewolf form up until his death. But when he returns to his home he is seen as a human for just a few seconds, before changing back to a werewolf.

Correction: She didn't mean that you would stay a werewolf forever. She meant that once bitten by a werewolf, you would have the werewolf curse upon you forever.

Mortug

Except that during the battle with the gray werewolf at the beginning of the movie, it took place during the day so that would mean that anyone who was infected would be a werewolf forever. If not, then the werewolf shouldn't be out during the day.

When Anna and Van Helsing go to Frankenstein's castle, Anna sees Velkan strapped to the machine. As she tries to free him, he turns into a werewolf and stays one until he is killed by Van Helsing. This shows that anyone infected by lycanthropy becomes a werewolf forever.

Not only that but, when Velkan, as a werewolf is chasing Van Helsing, Anna and Carl, the entire chase happens during the day and he doesn't become human again until he's killed.

Van Helsing (2004)

Corrected entry: When Van Helsing "agrees" to trade Frankenstein for Anna, Aleera tells Van Helsing that there will be a masquerade ball in Budapest. Aleera never tells Van Helsing exactly where in Budapest the ball will be at but Van Helsing and Carl find it with no problem.

Correction: He simply got the information off-screen.

Mortug

How though? After she delivers the message, she simply flies off. So who could have given the information to him?

Well, it's a "high-society" ball so it's a major event. In addition, remember Van Helsing is acting as the prime agent of a secret order that is implied to be a worldwide organization designed to respond as quick as possible to evil. With those sorts of resources, finding a social event that is likely the "talk of the town" would not be much of a challenge for the world's premiere investigator.

Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Linderman, Kia, Will, Detective Stubbs, and Freeburg are sitting at a table discussing how to destory Freddy and Jason, there is a Sprite bottle on the table. The cap to the bottle is seen right next to it, but as the shots change angles, the cap is about 6 inches away from the bottle, and then back to being right next to it again. (00:53:30)

Correction: This never happens. Even so, there are several shots not showing Will and the Sprite bottle at all. He could have had several sips from the bottle placing it close/near the cap without us noticing it at all.

Jaws 2 (1978)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the shark attacks the boat, Tina's Joy, the boy falls over the side and the boat is pushed several yards. The sail falls off on the boat. We then see the boy in the water, then when the scene cuts back to the girl in the boat, the sail is back up again. (01:10:20)

Correction: The sail doesn't fall off. What we see is just the outer edge of the sail touching the water.

Scary Movie 2 (2001)

Corrected entry: During Dwight's wheelchair duel with Kaine, he crashes through several statues, but there's no way he could be carrying enough momentum to get through them all without stopping.

Correction: This was done for the purpose of comedy. It's not meant to be taken seriously.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: In the last scene on top of the Empire State Building when Ann touches Kong's arm, her hand goes through Kong's arm and pixelates.

Correction: Her hand goes under his hair, not through his hand.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Kong is fighting the two T-Rexes, after they fall through the spider webs, Kong bites off the tongue of one of them and spits it out. In the next shot, when Kong is opening and closing its mouth, the same T-Rex miraculously has a tongue again.

Correction: Kong only rips out half the tongue, so he still has a bloody stump tongue.

King Kong (2005)

Corrected entry: When Carl Denham tells Jack Driscoll that they are going to Skull Island instead of Singapore, Jack Driscoll types "Skull Island" on his typewriter. But when he does that, it's already on his sheet, the page just moves from right to left and the typewriter bars are only touching the paper.

Correction: Wrong. The particular shot is played in slow motion and you are getting it all wrong.

Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)

Corrected entry: In the final fight, when Freddy is knocked off the construction site and is hanging by his foot, in one shot his hat has fallen off his head, but when the camera changes back to him when hes swinging his hat is back on his head.

Correction: His hat never reappears on his head, while he's hanging there.

Corrected entry: When they first arrive at Olaf's house, we see Mr Poe look in, then we see Olaf look at Poe. The part of the peep hole that opens is at the left side of the screen, but when it closes it's at the top.

Correction: No, it closes from the side. You can even see that the peep hole opens to the side from Mr. Poe's point of view.

Mortug

Correction: He has his glasses on throughout the entire scene.

Jaws 4 (1987)

Revealing mistake: When Jake falls into the water by accident and lands in the sharks mouth, you can see a pole attached to the side of the shark used to turn the shark and the body side to side.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: No, it's the pole Jake attached the electro magnetic device to.

Mortug

No, it's not. This pole looks different than one Jake attached the electromagnetic device to.

Jaws 4 (1987)

Revealing mistake: During the scene on the banana boat, the woman who is attacked by the shark quite deliberately shoves her leg into the fake shark's mouth as it missed her when it came up out of the water.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: She doesn't put her foot in its mouth. She instinctively tries to kick it or she's just unlucky with where she moves her foot.

Mortug

She put her leg in the shark's mouth. It's too obvious even without slow motion.
