Question: Does anyone know why they changed the position of the fat lady (the entrance to the Gryffindor tower) in this film? She's along a deserted corridor in the previous films, but she's in the main stairwell in POA.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Question: This has already been asked, but who is the black kid that reads about the Grim? Someone said it was Dean Thomas, which is what I thought, but you can see the original actor for Dean Thomas in a few scenes IN ADDITION to the new kid.
Answer: This is NOT Dean Thomas, who is played again by the same actor from the first two HPs. This is just a random Hogwarts student. No special reason he was put in this film (no conspiracy theories!), just as an extra. Remember, there are students at the school whose names are never mentioned in the books. Check out IMDB, there are 2 kids, listed as Boy 1 and Boy 2. He's got to be one of them.

Full House (1987)
Question: In the Full House episode "Taking the Plunge", after Michelle comments how D.J. has broken up with Nelson twice, Stephanie tells Nelson something like, "Man I've heard of on and off again relationships but you guys should be related to the clapper." Then she claps her hands. What did she mean by that?
Answer: She's referring to The Clapper, a device you plug into any electrical device, such as a lamp or radio. When you clap your hands, it turns on. Clap again, it turns off. Popularized by the "Clap on, clap off, clap on clap off, the clapper" jingle in the commercials.
Question: How do you get the secret easter eggs on both of the Extended DVD's? I've tried and I've only managed to get two of them and they were the trailers.
Answer: To get to the MTV Council of Elrond parody: Disc 1 extended edition. Go to "Select a Scene" and scroll to scene 27, the C of E. Press DOWN and a ring should pop up. Select the ring. PJ appears and you see the parody. To get to the Two Towers preview: Disc 2 extended edition. From main menu, go to "Select a Scene." Select chapter 48 in right column. "Fan club credits" appears. Go back to the right column to chapter 48 and press DOWN. An image of the Two Towers pops up. Select the Towers. PJ appears and you see the preview.

Annie (1982)
Question: Why does Miss Hanigan, who knows Annie's parents died (as she states in the scene when she, Rooster and friend are looking for Annie's locket), think about letting them in in the scene when she answers the door and is told "Hi, we're Annie's parents"?
Answer: When Rooster and Lily show up at the door, in disguise, and say they are Annie's parents, it's entirely possible that Mrs Hannagan started questioning whether Annie's parents had in fact been killed. Maybe there was some mistake and they didn't die in a fire. How would she know? The police could have been mistaken after all. Plus they showed up out of no place and surprised her saying that. She didn't have time to think, and, as the movie has shown, she was probably intoxicated as well.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Question: Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't it take Gandalf and Pippin a three day ride to Minas-Tirith? Because when Gandalf saves Faramir from the winged Nazgul, Faramir says he last saw Frodo and Sam in Ithilien 'not two days ago' (at the end of The Two Towers), so shouldn't he have last seen them at least FOUR days ago?

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Question: During the montage scene, the movie plays a cover of the Disturbed song, 'Down with the Sickness,' that was all happy-go-lucky. However, my friend and I cannot for the life of us find a soundtrack or song listing for this movie. If anyone knows the name of this song, we really, really want to know.
Chosen answer: This is 'Richard Cheese & Lounge Against the Machine.' They do hilarious covers, from this song to Sir Mix-A-Lot's 'Baby Got Back' to the White Stripes' 'Fell in Love With A Girl.'

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001)
Question: During the scene where the first-years are being sorted into their houses, the sorting hat is set on each students head, except for Malfoy. It is merely held above his head, as it announces his house. Is there a reason for this?
Answer: Malfoy is so strongly Slytherin that the Sorting Hat can tell he needs to be in Slytherin before reaching his head and having to "think" about it.

Answer: Cuaron changed the locations of a lot of things. See: Whomping Willow, Hagrid's Hut among others. Why? It's his film, he did things his way, as he had every right to.
