Factual error: In the final fight scene with Malekith, Thor falls through a portal that brings him to Charing Cross station, where the lady on the train tells him he has to ride 3 stops to get to Greenwich. Charing Cross is not on the Jubilee Line and so not directly connected to Greenwich - even then it's a lot more than 3 stops. (01:33:45)
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Directed by: Alan Taylor
Starring: Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Christopher Eccleston
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thor tells Jane to hold on, she's on Thor's right side and Mjölnir (the hammer) is in his left hand. As they are traveling through the Bifröst to Asgard, the position of each has changed. (00:28:20)
Continuity mistake: When the aether enters Jane, just before she ends up back on earth, she is cross-like in a sea of red, but she is wearing a breastplate. She does not get given this until she is taken to Asgard 15 minutes later.
Trivia: Stan Lee makes his usual cameo, this time as a patient at the asylum where Selvig is being held.
Trivia: The kiss between Thor and Jane after the credits doesn't actually feature Natalie Portman - due to scheduling issues she wasn't available, so Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky put on a wig and filmed the scene.
Trivia: Stay during the credits for a scene part way through and another one at the end.
Jane Foster: [slaps Loki.] That was for New York!
Loki: I like her.
Loki: It's not that I don't love our little talks, it's just... I don't love them.
Question: Loki (as Odin) quotes a conversation that occurred between Thor and Odin. This conversation happened after Loki let go of the handle Thor offered to keep him from falling off the bi-frost. How does Loki know what Odin tells Thor when he's supposedly headed to Midgard (Earth) as they speak? Can Loki read minds? If so, I don't recall any movies he comes out in mentioning mind reading.
Question: Several items thrown into the portal at the abandoned warehouse comes back through another end. How exactly do the items manage to get from the other dimension back through the other end of the portal?
Chosen answer: As seen in the film, the portals are in flux. They are constantly activating and deactivating, potentially pulling items through from one dimension to another.
Question: The Bifrost was destroyed at the end of the first film and Thor was sent back to Earth another way in The Avengers. So can someone explain to me why he didn't visit Jane then? Or at least after Loki's plans were foiled?

Answer: Loki has been shown to exhibit numerous powers in the movies that can explain how he knew about this conversation. In all the movies, he has been shown to appear in hologram-like forms in different locations. For example, in The Avengers, he uses this power to meet up with The Other who is in the middle of space, whilst he is on Earth. In the end credits scene for Thor, he was able to watch over Selvig and Nick Fury's conversation despite not being there. In Thor: Ragnarok, he was able to see into Valkyrie's past through touching her head (though this power was not established until Thor: Ragnarok). Any of these powers could have been used to find out about this conversation between Thor and Odin.
