Continuity mistake: When the bird first hits the RV, a blood stain is visible on the windshield. But on the exterior shot of the RV as it stops, the blood has disappeared. (00:26:50)
Paul (2011)
Directed by: Greg Mottola
Starring: Sigourney Weaver, Jason Bateman, Seth Rogen, Simon Pegg, Kristen Wiig, Jeffrey Tambor, Nick Frost, Mia Stallard
Continuity mistake: The shot of Graeme and Clive's RV crashing into the side of Haggard's car is used twice.
Continuity mistake: When Jason Bateman does a high-speed u-turn (hand-brake turn) on the highway, the camera cuts to a close-up of him driving. You can see that he is driving on the right side of the car, instead of the left side.
Trivia: Stick around after the movie has finished, at least 4 minutes of extra footage is shown.
Agent Zoil: Motherfucking, titty-sucking two-balled bitch!
Graeme Willy: You are an alien!
Paul: To you I am, yes.
Graeme Willy: Are you gonna probe us?
Paul: *Why* does everyone always assume that? What am I doing? Am I harvesting farts? How much can I learn from an ass?
Ruth Buggs: Well ain't that a bag of tits.
Question: At the end, Zoil refers to Paul as 'Short Round.' I know that Short Round was the nickname of the kid in the movie, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. But why did Joil refer to Paul as the kid's nickname?

Answer: Since Paul is an alien, his race would probably give their body parts names that are in their own native language. To humans, we have throats. To Paul's race, jorph is their word for throat.
It cannot be a throat as it is an opening, it is more likely an opening that acts like a human ear.
