Plot hole: The movie takes place at Southern Atlantic University, yet when Syd and Tyler sit down to dinner, the sun is setting over the ocean.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sydney and the dorks are giving out free drinks and burgers Dinky comes up to her and begins talking to her. Just after they show the green soy burger, Dinky is to the left of the shot parting her hair: this immediately switches to both her hands down in the immediate following shot. A couple shots later you see the parting the hair shot come back into play at a different angle. (00:59:15)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end, when everyone has turned against Rachel and she is screaming at the top of her lungs, on close-up view she is looking upward, and in the far shot she is looking straight ahead.
Trivia: This movie is loosely based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. There's the poison apple (fried computer), the seven male roommates and one female, and the kiss in the library to wake up Sydney.
Lenny: You may find this hard to believe, but most of the guys here don't have a lot of experience with girls.
Sydney White: Just to clarify, I spend a normal amount of time in the bathroom.
Lenny: Did they really make you sing Celine Dion?
Sydney White: Yeah.
Lenny: Do you need a place to stay?
Question: What is the whole deal with the black guy who sleeps all the time? And Sydney was sneaking in changing the time on the clock. I can't quite get the gist of that. Please help and thanks in advance.

Answer: When Sydney arrives at the Vortex, she is told that Embele is a Nigerian transfer student, who is still jet lagged despite the fact that he has been in the U.S. for about three years already. She decides to take matters into her own hands to help him. Every single day she adjusts the time on his alarm clock, so each day he is a bit closer to the actual local time. Then after about a month or two, his body has slowly adjusted to the proper time, which allows him to function normally, instead of sleeping all the time.
