Continuity mistake: At the end, when Charlie is writing "As Wichita falls, so falls Wichita Falls" on the back of the RV, it shows him only making a couple strokes with his marker, only being able to write a few letters at most. In one of the very next shots, he is hit by the back of the RV as the driver, who is trying to start the engine, accidentally jerks the vehicle backward suddenly. Before he is hit, "As Wichita falls, so falls Wichita Falls" is written out completely. There is no way he would have had time to write all of it.
The Ice Harvest (2005)
Directed by: Harold Ramis
Starring: John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton, Connie Nielsen, Bill Noble, Lara Phillips
Continuity mistake: When Charlie meets Vic in the restaurant, in one shot Charlie is holding his drink up to his chin about to drink it but in the next shot he has it near his lap. This happens again with Charlie when he is sitting at the bar with Pete; his drink is up near his chin then down when Pete yells something stupid.
Factual error: The night the episode takes place is described to have freezing rain with very icy road conditions. Vic describes the roads to Charlie as a "hockey rink" in one of their conversations, Charlie loses control of his car and slides off the road in one scene, and he slips on an ice patch and falls flat on his back in another. However, throughout the night, there are rather large drops of rain falling and puddles with unfrozen water on the roadways and parking lots. Being from upstate New York, I can tell you that freezing rain falls in much smaller droplets, and ice will accumulate wherever there is any water on the ground, not just in some places.
Trivia: The ice that Vic dies in is only wax over water made to look like ice.
Pete Van Heuten: Yo-ho-ho, mofo.
Vic: He actually threatened to shoot Gladys if I did't tell him where the money was. But I think he was counting on a level of commitment and affection between her and me that just simply wasn't there.
Pete Van Heuten: My friend here is a mobster. You may know that. You may not.
