Continuity mistake: After Mike punches Billy and pushes him down onto the bar, Billy stands up and shakes the popcorn from his face. The camera angle changes, and now Billy has more popcorn stuck to his face than he ever had before. (00:23:45)
Too Young to Die? (1990)
Directed by: Robert Markowitz
Starring: Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis, Michael Tucker, Alan Fudge
Character mistake: Amanda's lawyer says several times she'll go to the gas chamber if found guilty - once to her, once to the prosecutor and once to the jury. Oklahoma doesn't use, and never has used, the gas chamber for executions. (00:15:00 - 01:16:00)
Factual error: Amanda gets married when she is either 13 or 14. The legal age in Oklahoma is 16, and there's nothing to suggest she lied about her age.
Mike Medwicki: Maybe if you could... you could try and find your mom?
Amanda Sue Bradley: My mom? She threw me away. She threw me away.
Mike Medwicki: Well, well, well, well, well. You really did drop in from Heaven.
Amanda Sue Bradley: Well, I guess I did.
Buddy Thornton: Look, I don't want to dismiss what happened on that night in the oil fields in Horne, Oklahoma. That was tragic. But the tragedy is yours and mine as well. You see, Amanda is a child of our times. And the prosecutor was right when he said there were many child like her raoming our streets. But is she is guilty of this crime, then society is guilty as well.
