Continuity mistake: Right at the end when the man takes his mask off, a strand of blonde hair hangs out from the back of "his" head. In the next shot the hair is dark brown.
Murder By Death (1976)
Directed by: Robert Moore
Starring: Peter Sellers, Alec Guinness, Peter Falk, Eileen Brennan, James Coco, Truman Capote
Continuity mistake: When Lionel Twain is leaving the dinner table, in one shot his left arm is up, but then down in the next.
Audio problem: When Miss Jessica Marbles is reading and "finds out" who the murderer is, she closes the book and puts it down saying, "good heavens." But her mouth does not move.
Jamesir Bensonmum: She murdered herself in her sleep, sir.
Dick Charleston: You mean suicide?
Jamesir Bensonmum: Oh no, it was murder, all right. Mrs. Twain hated herself.
Tess Skeffington: He was arrested in 1932 in Chicago for selling pornographic Bibles. The D.A. couldn't make the charge stick when the church refused to turn over the Bibles.
Milo Perrier: No, no, it's all right. My wine is not poisoned. It was just a bad year.
Question: What does Milo Perrier mouth to Jessica Marbles as Benson-mum spoons out the "soup" during dinner? I can't read their lips.
Answer: According to the script, she is mouthing "I think he's lying."
Answer: "I think he's lying."
Answer: No, he mouths "I think he's blind." It's right after the scene where he tests that. The Marbles character responds "who is?"
