Factual error: The President and Agent Miles commandeer a small plane at an Astovian airfield to fly to Ramstein U.S. Air Force Base. Miles identifies the craft as Air Force One, as the President is on board. However, "Air Force One" is the designation only for Air Force planes that fly the President (similar to how "Marine One" is called that because it is a Marine helicopter). Non-military planes, such as the one they are flying, typically carry the call sign "Executive One" when the President is on board.
Air Force One Down (2024)
Directed by: James Bamford
Starring: Anthony Michael Hall, Katherine McNamara, Ian Bohen
Factual error: Secret Service Agent Miles salutes the President inside of Air Force One and has the other hand on her hip. Secret Service agents do not salute. They are not military.
Factual error: A 747 allegedly Air Force One is shown taking off. But it is painted white, not the shades of blue as the real Air Force One is painted.
Rodinov: You think I was stealing from my own country? It was capitalism, and you Americans gave it to us. Your government wanted us to get rich, forget who we are, who we were. You know nothing about our history, about our life, our culture, religion. You people turn us into you, and hate what you see.
Sam Waitman: You two, get Falcon to a secure location now.
President Edwards: I don't wanna go to a goddamn secure location.
Sam Waitman: Mr. President, I don't tell you how to run the country. Please don't tell me how to protect you.
President Edwards: You were still general. The military owned everything back when this factory was sold off, yes?
Rodinov: What of it?
President Edwards: I know how things worked under you. Anyone wishing to do business here had to pay you off.
Rodinov: The factory was supposed to remain open. They lied to me!
President Edwards: Now, you're just complaining that they're better crooks than you.
