Good Omens

Hard Times - S1-E3

Other mistake: Crowley shows acute discomfort while inside the church with Aziraphale and the Nazi spies as he is on consecrated ground. However, (spoiler alert) once the bomb destroys the church he is perfectly comfortable. The key word here is "ground" - it is the land upon which the church stands that is consecrated, not the building itself. (This allows churches to be rebuilt if they are demolished or destroyed.) Crowley should still be in considerable discomfort after the church has been blown up.

In The Beginning - S1-E1

Factual error: In order to take delivery of the demon baby, Crowley meets Hastur and Ligur - two fellow demons - in a church graveyard, but later we find that demons cannot step on to consecrated ground without suffering extreme discomfort. Church graveyards are always on consecrated ground.

Suggested correction: But it is a satanic church so Crowley can step in it.

There is nothing in The Book or the film to suggest that the graveyard is part of a "satanic church."

The church is run by Satanic nuns who are orchestrating the entire plan to switch babies.

No, it is not. Crowley has to drive for a considerable distance from the church to the convent in order to deliver baby Adam to the satanic nuns. They have nothing to do with it.

The Book - S1-E2

Other mistake: When Aziraphale is reading The Book in his shop, you see various written prophecies pass by on screen. These are the original 1990 versions, not those actually read out later in the show. E.g. "When Orient's chariot inverted be, four wheels in the air" vs "When Robyn's chariot inverted be, three wheels in the air" and the inclusion of The Other Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who were cut from the show.

Trivia: Budget limitations means the original plan for the Globe scene to feature a packed theatre had to be cut down, because they couldn't afford hundreds of extras with full costume starting at 5am, in order to finish before the theatre was used for a performance later in the day. Unwilling to cut the scene entirely, Neil Gaiman realised if they altered the sequence such that Hamlet was a flop, they could get away with just a few extras and work that into the dialogue.

The Book - S1-E2

Trivia: Alongside Witchfinder Sergeant Shadwell's ad for assistance with combating the forces of darkness is another asking whether anyone has found Uncle Terry's broad-brimmed black hat and also making mention of a red and yellow scarf. This is a reference to Terry Pratchett and his style of dress. (00:20:10)

Crowley: That unicorn's gonna make a run for it! Oh, it's too late. It's too late! Ah, you've still got one of them.
