Other mistake: When Hambleton comes across the hooch where he gets attacked, upon spotting the hooch he racks the slide on his 1911, loading a round in to the chamber. When he is fighting the villager he racks the slide again to load his pistol.
Bat*21 (1988)
Directed by: Peter Markle
Starring: Gene Hackman, Danny Glover, Jerry Reed, David Marshall Grant
Continuity mistake: When Hambleton is rescued in the huey by Capt Clark, he drops his walking stick as he is hanging half in half out of the chopper and it falls out of the chopper. A few seconds later he has his walking stick as he is still trying to get in the chopper.
Factual error: The two white jets they keep showing doing bombing runs, multiple times throughout this movie, are Air Force training jets, not combat aircraft.
Suggested correction: The aircraft are F-5 Tigers... They are absolutely combat aircraft.
Capt. Bartholomew Clark: Let's get the basic relationship down... I'm the lifeguard, you're the drowning man. If you relax, I can bring you to shore. If you fight me, then I'll have to slap you around.
Col. George Walker: You know anything about golf, Clark?
Capt. Bartholomew Clark: No, sir. Golf wasn't big in my neighborhood.
