Revealing mistake: During the scene when Cindy and the killer are fighting Matrix-style, Cindy kicks the killer, and he knocks down the book case so it falls over him. There is a vase with flowers on the book case - when it falls down the vase still remains on the book case, glued to it. (01:11:30)

Directed by: Keenen Ivory Wayans
Starring: Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Lochlyn Munro, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra, Jon Abrahams, Dave Sheridan, Cheri Oteri, Frank B. Moore, Giacomo Baessato
Genres: Comedy
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning Buffy tears off her dress and throws it on the ground. When they walk away there's no sign of it. (00:09:20)
Revealing mistake: During the final party scene, where Cindy is wearing a Viking Hat and yells with joy as she drinks from a "Beer Bong", if you look closely, right before they pan to Cindy, you can see that the hose of the "Beer Bong" is not attached to the funnel, or anything for that matter...it is just held alongside it. Trivia: The title Scary Movie was the working title of Scream, the film that this film spoofs.
Trivia: In the beginning of the movie, the girl is hit by a car which turns out to be driven by her father who seems quite busy. In the deleted scenes of the movie, the car that hits Cindy in the very end turns out to be driven by the same man, in the same way.
Doofy: Mom said that when I wear this badge you're supposed to treat me like a man of the law.
Buffy: Well, mom also said for you to stop sticking your dick in the vacuum cleaner.
Cindy: You've seen too many TV shows!
Ray: No! Watching TV shows doesn't create psycho killers! Cancelling TV shows does! [Ray starts stabbing Bobby]. Waynes Brothers was a good show! It was a damn good show! And, we didn't even get a final episode!
Shorty: I'm on TV! Oh shit! First Cops, now this! I'm gonna be a star, son!
Question: Who is the guy who looks through Cindy's window at the beginning of the movie and says 'wrong set'?
Answer: It's also worth mentioning that the song that is playing during this part - "I Don't Want to Wait" by Paula Cole - was the theme song to Dawson's Creek.
Question: In the trivia section it is mentioned that you may get a surprise reading the warnings on the beginning scenes of the DVD. I haven't got the DVD so can anyone tell me what the surprise is?
Answer: It's at the cinema it happens. The message as it appears onscreen is exactly as follows: "The following PEEVIEW has been assproved for immature audiences only. If you can read this you are too close. Pee Pee Poopy Boogers Farts Butthole. We thought it would be funny to put this here. Kiss our asses and take it off pause."
Question: How come at the end of the movie when Cindy realizes that Doofy is the killer and she drops the coffee cup on the ground there is a fish there? I know it's a joke but I don't get it.
Chosen answer: I know for sure they were making fun of the movie 'Usual Suspects' (dropping the cup) - they might have added the gag of the fish in it to appear as though she was shocked by the fish instead of the true identity of Doofy.

Answer: That whole scene is a spoof of the show "Dawson's Creek". The guy is James Van Der Beek, who played Dawson Leery, the title character.
