Other mistake: In the scene that Callaghan's daughter went into the portal, there is a track for the capsule to go into the first portal, but there was no track for the return portal.
Big Hero 6 (2014)
Directed by: Chris Williams, Don Hall
Starring: Alan Tudyk, T.J. Miller, Genesis Rodriguez, Jamie Chung
Factual error: When the car goes to the bottom of the ocean after the chase, the water in it is raising as if leaking in, despite the fact that the door on Hiro's side is missing and the water should be rushing in. (00:50:15)
Suggested correction: I watched the scene and it looks like it's filling up the way it should. It's looks similar to the way a car fills up after being submerged with the windows open.
Not true, water is still filling up the car way too slow for an opening like this. The car should be filled up immediately.
You're wrong thinking it would fill up immediately. But even so, it fills up in about 10 seconds (even less if the shot of it filling up is meant to be a simultaneous shot and not continuous).
Continuity mistake: In the scene at the college where Callaghan asks to look at Hiro's Megabot, Callaghan's shirt is blue, but when he holds out his arm to take Megabot, his shirt sleeve is red. Later on he is wearing a red shirt at the SFTT. (00:13:30)
Trivia: Don't miss the cute scene after the roll of the credits.
Trivia: In the scene where Hiro and Baymax go to the police station after jumping out of the window, in the depot behind the guard are a lot of wanted signs. Pause the movie and you'll see one of the posters is Prince Hans from Frozen, by the same creators who made Big Hero 6. Hans can be seen again as a statue when Baymax destroys it.
Baymax: Hairy baby!
Fred: If I could have any superpower right now, it would be to be able to go through that phone and give you a big hug.
Baymax: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?
Question: If Callaghan knew that his daughter was dead because of project silent sparrow, how did he attended the SFIT students showcase happily? And after the fire at SFIT, everyone presumed that Callaghan was dead. So when did Callaghan visit the project silent sparrow to know that his daughter was dead, before or after the fire?
Chosen answer: The Silent Sparrow incident took place long before the events of the film. He had been plotting his revenge for some time, part of which was using the fire to steal the microbots.
Answer: I think the fire was his original revenge plot but the microbots provided a chance for an even more satisfying end to Krei. Likely Abigail disappeared a year or two before (judging by how the men hardly aged) and Krei had to rebuild his company's image therefore creating the event. The comeback would have been hard on Callaghan and may have caused him to plan the fire and his death in the explosion assuming KreiTech couldn't recover from both, perhaps even would have taken Krei with him. But then he the microbots changed everything.
Question: At one point, Aunt Cass mentions an 80-year-old woman wearing something inappropriate for her age. What exactly is Aunt Cass implying there? What kind of outfit is she suggesting the old woman is wearing?
Chosen answer: Something that is probably showing a lot of skin. Something someone in their teens or early twenties would be seen wearing.
