Other mistake: In the book Hazel is reading near the start of the film, the word 'to' is used 4 times in a row.

Continuity mistake: In the night-of-the-broken-trophies scene, take a look at the trophy Augustus hands Isaac first. The 2nd time he smashes it against the wall, it is a different trophy. (00:23:25)

Continuity mistake: When Hazel shows her hand in support group (when Gus is present) the girl near her has her collar open but as she stands up the girl has her collar closed. (00:09:10)

Trivia: When Augustus, Hazel, and her mother return from Amsterdam and they show her dad with his sign, there is one to the left of him that says "Godfrey" which refers to one of the producers, Wyck Godfrey.

Trivia: In Hazel's room there is a poster for the band "Hectic Glow," which is a fictional band that Gus introduces Hazel to in the original book.

Trivia: Dr. Maria is an actual oncologist who served as the oncologist for most of the members of the support group.

Augustus: Between the three of us, we have 5 legs, 4 eyes, 2 1/2 working pairs of lungs, but we also have 2 dozen eggs, so I'd go back inside if I were you.

Hazel: But, Gus, my love, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn't trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful.

Hazel: Even though you have freaking cancer, you are willing to give money to corporation for a chance to acquire even more cancer? Let me just assure you that not being able to breathe SUCKS. Totally disappointing. Totally.
