Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gru first meets Lucy Wilde, Gru takes out his freeze ray and fires it at Lucy. Lucy stops the freeze with a flame gun thing and then she walks over to him and tazes him. Gru then drops the freeze ray, but it disappears when she goes to put Gru in the boot of her car. (00:08:30)

Gru: That's right, baby! Gru's back in the game with gadgets, and weapons, and cool cars!
Trivia: In the end credits, three minions are shown auditioning for "The Minion Movie." This is referring to the movie Minions, that will be released in 2015. (01:27:10)
