Trivia: While this film is the fourth main-series entry, it is technically the eighth film in the overall franchise, as four direct-to-video spin-off movies were released between the third film (2003's "American Wedding") and this film. Eugene Levy is the only actor to appear in all eight films, and co-star Chris Owen is the only other actor besides Levy to appear in both the theatrical films (including a cameo in this entry) and one of the spin-offs. (With a role in the first spin-off "American Pie presents: Band Camp.").

Question: Can someone please explain the photos in the yearbook? It seems like it was the gang in 1999, but they never posed for those photos in the first American Pie.

MikeH

Chosen answer: They have been friends for a long time. They had plenty of time to take pictures. We only see them on screen for a few hours of their lives spread over a short while.
