Now and Then (1995)

Continuity mistake: When Teeny, Samantha, and Chrissy save Roberta from the water and they pull her onto the sand, Chrissy punches Roberta. When it shows Roberta moaning, you can clearly see that Roberta has a white towel wrapped around her waist. Then you can see that Chrissy has one too. But when they show a view of them far away they don't have towels.

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, when Demi Moore and Melanie Griffith are coming into the house of Rita Wilson, Demi Moore and Melanie Griffith are standing on one side of the room and Rita Wilson is standing with Rosie O'Donnell on the other side of the room. If the camera shows Rita Wilson and Rosie O'Donnell from behind, Rosie O'Donnell is standing a little bit behind Rita Wilson, but if the camera shows Rosie O'Donnell and Rita Wilson from the side they are standing in a line.

Continuity mistake: When the girls see crazy Pete for the first time he cycles past the camera. then the camera flashes to the girls and then you see the exact same footage of Crazy Pete going by on his bike.

Continuity mistake: When the girls are at the diner, talking about how the waitress Wiladene is "off", Teeny has one hand on her Cosmo and one holding the pencil marking the answers, but in the next shot when Teeny says "What do you expect? She's a witch" her hand is just touching the edge of the table.

Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of the camera is briefly visible on Adult Roberta, when they play red Rover at the end of the movie.

Other mistake: Really, that is one amazing tree house. Not only has it supposedly held up with no discernible weathering for over twenty years, but it manages to support four grown women, justifying their faith in bringing a newborn baby up there with them.

Continuity mistake: When they are at the Greenfield Library, and Roberta is reading an article involving her mother's death, the paper is alternately flat/wrinkled between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Sam arrives home after the baseball game, she tucks her hair behind her ear twice between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the four girls are back at the graveyard for the third time trying to talk to Dear Johnny and put him back in his grave, they see the lights and the headstone float out in front of them, with nothing holding onto it. Then in the next shot there are chains around it, from the tractor that is holding it in mid air.

Continuity mistake: When the girls are biking to green field, Samantha's hair is down, then once they go under the bridge where the train is, her hair is up (she puts her hair up later when they're going up the library steps), then later on the road her hair is down.

Other mistake: When Chrissy is having her baby, Roberta is helping, by being the mid-wife. When the baby is fully born, the baby just comes right into Roberta's hand within a few seconds, there is no way she could have cut the umbilical cord this fast.

Other mistake: Watch when the bird poops in Chrissie's hair. From the camera angle above them, you can see that Chrissie not directly underneath where the bird is perched. The next shot shows the bird poop falling directly below the branch. The next shot after that shows the poop in Chrissie's hair. Judging by the position Chrissie was in, in relation to where the bird was, this is impossible.

Continuity mistake: When Roberta falls over on the road after missing her dive onto Scott on his bike, a man ahead with a briefcase hurries across the road before one of the other Wormers can cycle into him, and another one of the Wormers cycles ahead of him. After Roberta vows revenge on the Wormers, and when Scott yells back at her, the man is seen crossing the road again at a steady pace with all four of the Wormers coming before him.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie Chrissy is curling her hair, her hair remains tightly curled while in the house. When she goes out to greet the other girls her hair looks brushed out, definitely not tight curls. Then, when they all go inside, her hair is back to tight curls.
