Visible crew/equipment: In the big game of Red Rover at the beginning of the film, as Bobby runs over to the four girls, in one shot all of the four girls tape markers on the grass are extremely noticeable. Sam is standing on a red one, Chrissy on a blue one, Roberta on a green one and Teeny on a yellow one. They're obviously gone in all the following shots. (00:01:35)
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera pans along Sam's room, the black reflection of the passing camera is reflected in the crystal ball on her desk. (00:10:50)
Visible crew/equipment: When Sam pulls up outside Chrissy's house, watch as she opens her door, and you can see silver dolly tracks and a thick black wire reflected in the door. (00:05:25)
Visible crew/equipment: When Roberta runs over to the limo, to talk to the driver about letting her use the limo to get to the hospital, there is a microphone bobbing around, perfectly reflected on the limo windshield. (01:25:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When Teeny arrives at Chrissy's, at the beginning of the film, a boom mic is reflected in the window of the limo door she gets out of. (00:06:40)
Visible crew/equipment: When the Wormers are bombing the girls with Jell-O, Roberta pulls Chrissy down and says, "Chrissy. Get down." When they lie down, you can see tape markers on the grass where they are standing, Roberta on yellow and Chrissy on red.
Visible crew/equipment: There's a reflection of the camera lens in Teeny's room window, as the shot pans upwards, with her white cat sitting on the ledge. (00:56:45)
Visible crew/equipment: When Sam is trying to get the bracelet out of the sewer, the bracelet "falls" off of the ledge. However a wire is clearly attached to it, giving it a tug to make it appear to fall. (01:05:10)
Visible crew/equipment: The shadow of the camera is briefly visible on Adult Roberta, when they play red Rover at the end of the movie.
Visible crew/equipment: Chrissy sees the People magazine with Teeny's pic on the cover and asks Roberta why people get so excited over Teeny. When Roberta answers straightforwardly, in the next shot the shadow of the boom mic can be seen moving over the fridge, at the top of the screen. (00:05:40)
Answer: There are two different men named Peter. In the shot of the newspaper while Roberta is reading the article, it states that the driver of the pickup truck was Peter Norris (00:41:35). Then Sam finds the article about 12 year old Jonathan Simms and his mother, Beverly Ann, so we know that "Crazy Pete" is Peter Simms (00:43:00).
