The Dark Knight Rises

Continuity mistake: When Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox are discussing the fusion reactor in Fox's office, Wayne's hand keeps switching from being on his cane, to being placed somewhere out of frame.

Friso94

Continuity mistake: When Batman pulls the bomb from the back of the crashed truck, Gordon and Catwoman get out of the way. Catwoman turns to her right and takes a few steps in that direction, in the next shot she is just stepping backward and has not turned at all.

Factual error: After Bane takes over Gotham, the Army goes to town to stop him. When the convoy is stopped on the bridge, one of the vehicles shown is an M109 Paladin self propelled howitzer, an artillery cannon. There is no reason the army should bring medium-heavy field artillery to a hostage situation, seeing as everything it can do would involve more collateral damage than could be outweighed by the benefits. Even disregarding this, there's no reason at all to bring it into Gotham across the bridge: An M109 has an effective range of more than 30 kilometres, and a battery of guns would easily have been able to cover all of Gotham city from the other side of the river. Plus a howitzer, or any artillery for that matter, parked on a suspension bridge is pretty much useless as their field of fire would be severely limited.

Continuity mistake: When Catwoman shoots one of the tumblers we see it get hit and explode from behind, then 2 shots later we see her pass from the front. Also after the tumbler gets blown up the next wide shot from above reveals the tumbler is still there.

Other mistake: During the scene where Catwoman steals Bruce Wayne's Lamborghini Aventador, the traffic lights are red, however traffic proceeds through the light as if it were green, along with Catwoman.

Continuity mistake: In the aerial shot it shows police cars stopped in front of the moto, but in a shot from the front they've moved several metres further on.

Continuity mistake: As Batman begins to approach Bane during the final battle, be on the look out for a certain extra (a middle-aged man with a grey beard and brown vest). You'll see him fighting behind Batman...only to be seen fighting behind Bane in the very next shot.

Other mistake: The cops charge Bane's army, who are armed with automatic weapons, and yet only a few of them fall as they run towards each other. The cops would have been mostly cut down before they got anywhere near Bane's troops.

Jon Sandys

Revealing mistake: When Bane first breaks into the stock exchange, he forces one of the guards into shooting his gun. Two mistakes: there is no flash or muzzle flare, and the gun has an insane amount of recoil. It's not a cannon, it's a 9mm. It's also not the guard being startled by Bane: Bane is the one holding his arm.

Friso94

Continuity mistake: During the raid on the stock exchange, watch as Bane snaps the man's neck and slams his head on the table, you can see without placing his finger on the print scanner, but it appears there on the next shot.

Alex Abreu

Continuity mistake: When Hines Ward scores the opening touchdown as the field collapses, he ends by the letters "ues" (end part of Rogues). We see the field collapse up to the lettering, including part of the "u." When the mercenaries storm the stadium, there's a wide shot of the end zone and more of the field is present by those letters. Plus, when Ward is in the end zone, the grass is green between the letters, but in wide shots, the grass in the end zones is painted yellow with black letters.

Bishop73

CIA Agent: Now what's the next step of your master plan?
Bane: Crashing this plane... With no survivors.

Trivia: John Blake talks about "giant alligators" being in the sewer, likely a nod towards Batman villain Killer Croc.

Question: So Batman rides the Bat-cycle into the alley in order to get to the Bat and fly away from the cops when he returns from exile. What happens then to the Bat-cycle? It doesn't seem like the Bat-pod has room to carry it and there's nowhere in the alley to hide it. Batman also doesn't set it to self-destroy (assuming that's an option as with the Bat-pod) so does he just leave it there?

zexthatico

Chosen answer: He hides it away, presumably in the modified shipping container that we see him retrieve it from later on, once he returns to the city from captivity. Having left the Bat there so that he can use it if necessary, it would make sense that he'd also prepare somewhere to hide the Bat-pod when he changed vehicles to avoid having to leave it for the police.
