The Dark Knight Rises

Continuity mistake: The plane in the beginning has at least 4 rows of seats in the left and 5 rows in the right. In the final shot where Bane and the doctor "slip" out of the plane, the left has only 3 rows and the right one also seems to have no more than 3. Additionally, the last of both rows are level, although in the rest of the scene they are not. Furthermore, Bane and the doctor "start" amidst the seats, although in the last shot they start behind the last row of seats. And the aisle is pretty narrow in the last shot with not enough space to fit an additional seat, compared to the rest of the scene where the gap is wide enough to fit at least two seats. Continuity mistake: When Selina is observing the target that Bruce has been firing arrows at, Bruce suddenly shoots an arrow at the target, surprising her. The arrow is shown directly hitting the number 7 on the target. The shot then changes angles and the arrow is now a couple of inches away from the number 7. (00:11:19)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Blake is talking with the orphan on the bench, the wider shot of them shows the fence behind them being totally still. But in the shot of the orphan saying "Do you think he's coming back", the fence is suddenly in the middle of rattling in the wind. (00:18:55)

Casual Person

Visible crew/equipment: When the sewer explodes and the explosion comes up through the manhole surrounded by police officers, the cop nearest to the explosion can be seen wearing some sort of jelly to protect himself from the explosion. (00:23:30)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Bruce is meeting with Lucius in the office at Wayne Tower, the book on the seat next to Bruce changes positions during their conversation. (00:37:15)

Continuity mistake: The scene where Bane overwhelms the guards at the stock exchange and the surveillance tape of that scene that Alfred shows Bruce later are not from from the same take/choreography: In the surveillance tape when Bane shoots the guard with the other guard's pistol still in his hand, in the exact moment the shot goes off (recognizable by Bane's upwards bouncing arm), the guard flails his left arm high and throws his head back as if reacting choreographically to a punch (that punch comes half a second later though). In the original the guard does not flail with his left arm and does not throw his head back the moment the shot goes off. He only does it when Bane actually hits him with his own pistol. Furthermore, you can see from the surveillance tape that Bane's pistol-punch does not connect with the guard's face. (00:42:10 - 00:56:30)

Other mistake: After Batman returns to his cave, Alfred shows him the recording of the surveillance camera. From the angle of the surveillance camera, you can see that Bane shoots an armed guard that stands inside the metal detector. Yet in the original scene at the stock exchange there is no audible alarm from the metal detector that should've been triggered by the armed guard. In both recordings you can see that the green light ("ready" & "no alarm") is on all the time. (00:42:10 - 00:56:30)

Continuity mistake: When Selina has Daggett pressed up against a wall, she is shown wearing heels, but later on in the same scene, whilst she and Bruce fighting Bane's mercenaries on the roof, she is wearing flats. (00:52:00 - 00:53:25)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Selina Kyle and Daggett fall onto the elevator, the shot cuts away before Kyle gets up. Yet in the following shot, she is fully up and standing within range of the cables. (00:52:25)

Other mistake: When Catwoman and Batman are fighting Bane's henchmen on the rooftop, pay close attention to the guys in the background right before Batman knocks Catwoman's gun away: you can see that the henchman well out of Batman's reach on the far left falls over like he's been hit by a punch, but he couldn't be. Also, no gunshots are heard at that point, so he couldn't have been shot either. (00:53:30)

Continuity mistake: After Batman and Selina escape Bane's men on the roof-top, Batman flies with Selina in "the bat" and drops her off before returning to the batcave. When he arrives in the cave, he emerges from "the bat" without his mask on and examines the data he obtained from the stock exchange heist. At this point he should still have on the dark black eye makeup he typically wears under the mask, even without the mask on. We are to believe he returned to the cave directly after leaving Selina, and it would not make sense that in flying back home he removed his face paint. (00:55:45)

Continuity mistake: During Bane's first fight with Batman on the catwalk, when Batman catches Bane's left punch and then headbutts him, Batman's right hand is in the air and not holding the ledge. In the very next shot, Batman's right hand is now on the ledge. (01:12:10)

Audio problem: After Bruce escapes from the pit, he and Selina talk under a bridge. Bruce says "I admit I was a little let down" but his lips aren't moving. (02:01:17)

Continuity mistake: When Commissioner Gordon and his men are caught by Bane's henchmen and sent to exile, Bane takes Miranda away, but then Bruce speaks to her before leaving with Lucius, and then asks the commissioner where she is just scenes after. (02:03:54 - 02:07:05)

Visible crew/equipment: Whilst the police are shown standing on the street, ready to fight Bane's mercenaries, just after Foley walks to the front of the crowd, it cuts to a shot of the mercenaries arriving on the street. In this shot, towards the left of frame, a man can be seen walking up a flight of stairs, carrying a radio. This man is not part of Bane's army and has no other reason to be present in the scene, so he is most likely a crew member that unintentionally walked into the shot. (02:11:00)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When the girl climbs out of the prison her head gear is not joined under her chin. In the next shot when she covers her head, the bottom is now joined together. (02:12:35)

Continuity mistake: In Bane and Batman's second fight scene, before they walk up the steps, Bane side kicks Batman with his right leg. Immediately after that, in the next shot, the angle changes and he kicks Batman with his left leg, instead of his right. (02:14:50)

Factual error: When the bridges are blown up, some of the bridges are suspension bridges, but the bridge only fails at the point of the explosion. The main horizontal supports are severed, but large portions of the bridge remain magically aloft. The nature of suspension bridges means the remaining vertical cables and road deck would fail as well, resulting in the loss of the bridge between the two main pillar supports.

CIA Agent: Now what's the next step of your master plan?
Bane: Crashing this plane... With no survivors.

Trivia: Comedic actor Thomas Lennon has a small role as the doctor Bruce sees for a check-up before he visits Gordon. Lennon previously played a similar role in director Christopher Nolan's "Memento" (as the doctor the character Sammy Jenkis visits). Lennon stated that Nolan specifically wanted him for the role of the doctor in this film, and has speculated that perhaps Nolan considers them to be the same character.

Question: SPOILER: At the end of the movie, it is common knowledge that Bruce Wayne is dead. A tombstone is erected and Wayne Enterprises are executing his will. Since everyone knows Batman died, did Gordon (or someone else) out Bruce as Batman? Fair enough, they could've come up with a cover story for Bruce's death, but surely people would get suspicious if Bruce Wayne and Batman died around the same time.

Chosen answer: Given that no accurate records would have been kept of what occurred in Gotham during Bane's occupation, it would be very easy to claim that Bruce had been in the city when the bridges fell, been captured and subsequently executed by forcing him out on the ice, as had happened with many other socialites. Plenty of people died during Bane's takeover of the city, particularly in the final hours. There's no reason why Bruce would stand out among them as a candidate, and even if anybody did harbour some suspicion, it could hardly be proven.
