Continuity mistake: The false bottom of the locked desk drawer goes from being a solid piece when Elizabeth Halsey accesses it to a bottom that splits in half when the K9 officer accesses it.
Continuity mistake: The name of the school that Cameron Diaz works at is called John Adams Middle School but after Cameron Diaz meets the zany teacher next door, the next scene shows the outside of the school with a sign that says "Lincoln Middle School" instead.
Continuity mistake: During the car wash, Elizabeth swaps from being dry to soaked and back to dry between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth Halsey is smoking a cigarette next to Russell Gettis on the floor, the cigarette suddenly disappears between shots.
Continuity mistake: When a student brings Liz a box with cookies, it swaps from laying straight on the table to skewed, depending on which angle is shown.
Continuity mistake: Lynn Davies' head position is inconsistent between shots during the Period 5 bar scene while she is talking to Elizabeth Halsey. There is a point where her head is down, and in the next shot immediately after her head is up.
Continuity mistake: When Diaz is forcing the board examiner to drink the glass of drugged wine, he takes a big gulp leaving only a small amount in the glass. The camera cuts to a shot of Diaz pushing the glass back toward his mouth to get him to drink more and there's now considerably more wine in the glass.
Continuity mistake: The very same shot of a boy staring at Ms Quirrel in awe is repeated twice.
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth paints on the magazine, the mark on the paper changes from a double circle and a big star, to a single circle and a narrow star, between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Russ tells Liz that he's falling in love with someone, she is leaning against the wall on the angles from behind, but standing straight on the angles shot from in front.
Audio problem: At the end of the movie, when Elizabeth Halsey is talking to Lynn Davies, Ms. Davies comes down the stairs talking to Ms. Halsey, the voiceover plays, but her lips are not moving.
Continuity mistake: After Elizabeth marks the dress with a red felt pen, she takes her right hand toward the center of the page. A frame later, from a different angle, the hand is on the desk, above the page.
Continuity mistake: Before Elizabeth stars talking with Carl in the bar, the level of the juice in her cup changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: Right after the guy crashes his scooter into Carl's car he rips the side mirror off then throws it across the parking lot. The mirror ends up close to the side of the parked car, but in the rest of the shots the mirror is further away from the car.
Continuity mistake: Elizabeth paints on one of the dresses on the magazine, yet in the next angle all three have ink marks on them.
