Corrected entry: If mom and dad found out about the bathroom door that was switched, how come they didn't find out about the writing (Rodrick rules) which was switched to the closet door!?

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, Rodrick is driving Greg to school in his van. There is a close-up showing three flyers beautifully arranged on the top of the dashboard as they are driving along, and a soft toy. After Rodrick pulls away, there is no sign of the flyers and soft toy.
Bill Walter: Hey, no hard feelings, right?
Rodrick Heffley: Hey, Bill, you know what? After tonight, you're out of the band.
Bill Walter: What?
Rodrick Heffley: That's rock and roll, bro.
Question: Why is Angie (Chloe Grace Moretz) not back for this sequel?
Answer: Angie was not a character in the first Diary of A Wimpy Kid book and was made specifically for the first movie, as told in the audio commentary of DoAWK. Chances are fans disliked the character.
