Revealing mistake: When Bernard Bresslaw punches the guard who is grabbing hold of his girlfriend during the fight at the market, you can see that his fist never makes any contact with the guard's face.

Revealing mistake: When Kenneth Williams is speaking to the other holidaymakers on the terrace, it begins to rain. All of them run inside except Charles Hawtrey, who is lying on his inflatable lilo. At this point, black tarmac is visible along with what is supposed to be a beach.

Revealing mistake: When Vic and Cora are disturbed by the workers at 5am, they put cotton wool in their ears and go back to bed. In the next shot, their hotel bedroom ceiling is removed by hand by two workers, but when Cora says "Vic! Look up there!", you can see shadows of ropes pulling the ceiling along. The ropes disappear when the camera cuts to the ceiling again.

Revealing mistake: When Pepe walks through the curtains carrying two planks of wood in the hotel lounge, he falls through a hole in the floor. When he falls through the hole, black curtains used to create darkness are visible.

Continuity mistake: When it starts to rain while on the terrace, Kenneth Williams gets under the umbrella table on the right, but in the very next shot he is seen on the left waving his arms in the air.

Trivia: There was no music played during the filming of the party scene, so the cast members had to improvise their own dance steps as the scene continued. Although music was added to the final film later in production, you will notice that some of the actors are dancing too fast or doing the wrong steps to the music.
