Other mistake: Just one second after Sadie asks Bert if he is all right after falling from the balcony, Bert opens the door, covered in cement.

Continuity mistake: When Giorgio leaves Robin and Nicholas' table during the breakfast scene at the hotel, Nicholas has his hands clasped together, but in the very next shot he has his arms crossed.

Revealing mistake: As Mr and Mrs Blunt board the coach, you can see cables for the cameras running from an alleyway, into the road in front of the windscreen into the coach.

Revealing mistake: When Bernard Bresslaw punches the guard who is grabbing hold of his girlfriend during the fight at the market, you can see that his fist never makes any contact with the guard's face.

Continuity mistake: When Brother Martin catches Brother Bernard putting sun cream on Marge's back, look behind him and you can see Nicholas sitting on a sunbed, but in the close up of Bernard squeezing the bottle, Nicholas has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When it starts to rain while on the terrace, Kenneth Williams gets under the umbrella table on the right, but in the very next shot he is seen on the left waving his arms in the air.

Continuity mistake: When everyone is boarding the coach to take them to the airport, the vehicles parked in front of the coach keep changing. When Mr Tuttle gets on the coach there is a grey van and red lorry in front of it, with a grey lorry in the alley to the left, but when Mrs Tuttle tells Stuart to look after him the red lorry has gone and the grey lorry is replaced with a white car. When Mr Tweet and Mr Phipps board the red lorry is there but the grey van has gone. When Sadie boards there is a white van in front of the coach, but when Bert Conway offers to help her with her suitcase there's a brown lorry in its place. When Stuart tells the driver to wait for the party of twelve men there is a blue van and red car in front of it that suddenly vanishes.

Continuity mistake: When Vic tells Cora that she doesn't like flying in the pub, Cora moves her hands up and down and you can see she has nothing in her hand. In the next shot, a red cloth suddenly appears, Cora is now cleaning ashtrays and has moved from one side of the bar to the other. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: When Jimmy Logan goes out to his hotel balcony, it collapses and he falls into a vat of cement. When this happens, you can see that only his face is covered in cement, but when he appears in the hotel lobby a few seconds later, he now has cement in his hair.

Continuity mistake: When Vic is sampling the liquor at the market, watch the position of Moira. You can see that she is standing by the bottles near the stall at the start of the scene, but when Vic finishes drinking, she is now standing further away. When Moira runs away from Vic after he growls at her, she is back near the bottles again.

Continuity mistake: When Vic and Cora are talking about their holiday after Vic closes up the pub, the black jug on the counter changes position between shots.

Revealing mistake: When Kenneth Williams is speaking to the other holidaymakers on the terrace, it begins to rain. All of them run inside except Charles Hawtrey, who is lying on his inflatable lilo. At this point, black tarmac is visible along with what is supposed to be a beach.

Audio problem: When Vic goes through the glass of the bedroom balcony door, look at the left window and you can see in the reflection that Cora has her hand to her mouth, but loud laughter is heard.

Continuity mistake: When Pepe demonstrates to Floella how to heat up the stove by tossing some wine into the burner, by the frying pan there is a teapot, a kettle and a casserole dish, but in a close-up of the frying pan in the next shot, there is now a ladle between the kettle and casserole dish. The ladle then disappears in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When Bert is on the coach, he sits down next to Mr Tuttle and asks him "Where's all the crumpet then?" When we cut to Vic and Cora in the next shot, look behind them and Bert and Mr Tuttle are not in their seats.

Continuity mistake: When Mr and Mrs Blunt are at the beach, Mr Blunt sits down on a sun lounger and you can see there is a plank of wood behind him, but in the next shot, it disappears.

Continuity mistake: When Lily says "Hello!" to Nicholas on the hotel beach, Nicholas has his left arm under his right arm. In the next shot, he now has his left arm on his right arm.

Continuity mistake: When Brother Martin leads a group of monks from the Tomb of St Cecelia, there is only a small number seen, but when we see a wide shot of the fight at the market, the number of monks has suddenly increased.

Evelyn Blunt: Not for me thank you.
Vic Flange: Oh. Don't drink?
Evelyn Blunt: No, I tried it once and didn't like it.
Vic Flange: Smoke?
Evelyn Blunt: I tried it once and didn't like it.
Vic Flange: Strange.
Evelyn Blunt: Not at all, my daughter is just the same.
Vic Flange: Your only child, I presume.
