Continuity mistake: When we see the garage trap we see that half the windscreen is smashed away and the other side has a crack through it. However in one shot, the cracks have gone. (00:19:10)

Continuity mistake: Bobby finishes the tooth room with 14 minutes to spare. When he's in the next room he only has 4 minutes left. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: When Hoffman is walking towards Jill in the jail, the button down shoulder epaulette on his jacket is undone in one shot but done up in another. (01:11:50)
Revealing mistake: If you look very carefully when Gibson is machine gunned down, you can see the blood packs in his jacket. Slow-Mo may help but is not essential. (01:07:15)
Continuity mistake: When Jill is hiding from Hoffman, the blood mark on her face changes size, shape and colour instantly. (01:13:40)

Revealing mistake: When Gibson is watching the Hoffman DVD for the second time, the timer bar at the bottom of the video isn't moving. (00:43:45)
Audio problem: Hoffman sets fire to the Jigsaw evidence with a Zippo lighter. You hear him open the lighter and set fire to the petrol. He then leaves the lighter. But you hear the lighter click shut again. (01:17:40)
Continuity mistake: At the Garage trap, the man on the door can be seen to be split in two. However when we see all the homicide cops looking at the scene, he is all in one, albeit a bad one, part. (00:27:20)
Revealing mistake: Spoiler: Right at the end when Dr. Gordon looks at his severed foot from SAW, note the blood pattern on the tiled floor. The blood seems to go at right angles around 2 tiles. Blood should just spread out, not take the pattern on the tiles. (01:21:15)
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Gordon cuts his leg off in the first Saw film and leaves the bathroom, he leaves a big trail of blood. But in every movie after that you never see any type of blood trail at all.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Dr.Gordon throws the saw out of the bathroom into the hallway and it lands, the next time you see it, it has turned just a bit from when it landed. (01:21:00)
Continuity mistake: During the time in which the wife had walked out of the Police Station,she approaches the tri-cycle, during the change of angles there are tire tracks & foot prints, in another angle there are none, the snow is smooth. (00:16:20)
