Character mistake: At the end of the movie, we are shown Lily's third birthday. In the voiceover, Carrie says that Rose turned 3. Rose is only about 6 months old, and it's Lily turning 3.
Suggested correction: Early in "Sex and the City: The Movie" (the first film), while the ladies are having brunch, Charlotte notes that 3-year-old Lily is repeating everything. Then, at the end, Rose is born and Carrie marries Big. Near the start of this film (2 years later, after the first film), when Charlotte joins her friends for lunch, she has her daughters with her. And 2-year-old toddler Rose, being in her "terrible twos," is noted. At the very end of this film, Carrie's voiceover states, "Time moved us on, and in the future." Then, as she continues, we see that Rose turns 3 and that Carrie and Big's marriage grew out of its own terrible twos.
Character mistake: When Carrie tells her friends she accidentally left her passport behind while buying shoes, she mentions she left it behind because she saw Aidan... but in reality, she left her passport behind because of the "call to prayer" sound she heard on the loudspeaker and then walked away towards the sound - THEN saw Aidan. Carrie's own story was incorrect to her friends (as Aidan initially had nothing to do with it).
Suggested correction: Even by the mistake's own entry it still sounds like seeing Aidan is why she forgot her passport. Just because she went to investigate the sound didn't mean she forgot her passport, meaning she could still have had the intention of going back for it. When she saw Aidan, going back for the passport slipped her mind.
Continuity mistake: On the plane, the stewardess places a cocktail in front of another glass, but one glass disappears in the immediate next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie is buying shoes at the souk, the seller's hands are on the counter or not depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: While having breakfast, Carrie drinks from her mug, but it disappears in the angle shot from behind her.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast, Lily exits to the right but disappears in further shots.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie gives Big the gift, the ribbon around the box changes style between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte watches Erin bathing Rose, she places her hand on the door frame. In the POV shot Charlotte's hand disappears.
Continuity mistake: Carrie places the gift box on the table skewed, but when the shot changes it is lying straight.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie and Big's anniversary home dinner starts, she's picking food with her right hand and taking it to her mouth. When the shot changes her hand is lowered, and she's holding a knife.
Continuity mistake: When Sam swallows the bunch of pills during lunch, she leans her head backwards, but from the opposite angle it's straight.
Continuity mistake: When Sam shows the thick book to the girls, the position of her right hand changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Big tells Carrie's fans that they've been married for two years, his right arm is raised or lowered depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: During the wedding, a fan talks to Carrie. Big turns around and grabs his spoon. Shot changes, and his spoon is on the table, and he's picking it up again.
Audio problem: When Anthony says his vows, there's a side shot of him with his jaw moving, but it doesn't match the audio at all.
Continuity mistake: During the wedding, when the male band sings, two women walk by, one of them wearing a turquoise dress. When the shot changes, they are several meters behind repeating their previous walk.
Continuity mistake: At Bergdorf and Goodman Charlotte says "our friend is getting married." Her hand jumps between being on her purse or away, between shots.
Continuity mistake: When 1980s Miranda drops the papers, a tall woman with a black hat walks behind her twice.
Continuity mistake: When the movie begins, and we see Carrie in 1986, the man in a striped white and yellow shirt walks by twice.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie can't sleep, the clock reads August 26th. But at the very end of the movie, Carrie narrates that on the 4th of July, Samantha slept with Rikard Spirt.
