Factual error: The A-Team's highjacked C-130 is said to have been shot down near Mannheim in Baden-Württemberg County, Germany. Yet, the agents later claim that Murdock drove the tank out of the Wolgastsee, asking a local woman for the way to Berlin. The Wolgastsee is on the island of Usedom in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern County - some 400 to 450 miles away from Mannheim.
Visible crew/equipment: When BA is cleaning the windows the cameraman can be seen in the bottom right as he pans round.
Visible crew/equipment: Lighting screens are reflected on the team's eyeglasses during the helicopter chase.
Continuity mistake: In prison, While Hannibal talks to Lynch, the briefcase keeps swapping from opened to closed depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: When Hannibal is put inside the crematorium oven, the door at his feet closes like a steel blind, with one blade going down over the first blade, to create a double door. However, when Hannibal opens it by kicking the door with his feet, the door opens upwards like a crappy trap door. If it were a back door he should have opened it with his head. There was no space for him to turn around 180º.
Continuity mistake: When Face and Sosa are in the photo booth, Face cuffs Sosa's left hand to a metal bar and holds her right hand up against the wall. After Sosa has stopped struggling, her right hand changes positions frequently between shots.
Continuity mistake: Face asks the French reporter if she is French. When she replies "Yes" the paper she was holding against her chest a frame before disappears.
Continuity mistake: At the base, when Hannibal is told about the plan to steal the plates, from the back shots his t-shirt is several centimeters away from the strap of his bag. From the front shots, the t-shirt is wrinkled around the strap.
Factual error: During their court-martial sentencing they are dishonorably discharged and then sent to prison instead of being discharged after prison. They would still be in the military while serving time at a military prison.
Factual error: After the A-Team lured General Tuco into American airspace, his heli is shot down by a F-22 with a pair of missiles. However, the F-22's bay doors where the weapons are stored for stealth reasons aren't open during launch.
Factual error: The sign in the hospital reads "Hospital San Vicente de Paulo para todos veteranos de Guerra". The correct spelling is "San Vicente de Paul" and "todos los veteranos".
Continuity mistake: In the German parking lot, the baddie kicks the suitcase meters away to the left, but it appears right next to BA's head a couple of shots later.
Factual error: The Swiss license plate on the Mercedes is wrong, it says "ZH 8Q25." The only letters on Swiss license plates however are the two first ones indicating the canton. The real version of this plate would be "ZH 8025"
Audio problem: In the helicopter chase scene, when the A-Team is about to be shot down by heat seeking missiles, Murdock shuts the helicopter's engine off. When he restarts engine the sound is that of an radial piston engine starting, not the sounds of a jet turbine like it should be.
Continuity mistake: When Hannibal runs the baddie over with the Mercedes at the German parking lot, the suitcase swaps from being underneath BA's head to by his right side in half a second.
Continuity mistake: BA drives the van and brakes to avoid running Hannibal over, who's 5 meters ahead. However, when the angle changes, the van keeps skidding for at least 50 meters. Then BA pulls over and Hannibal is not only a meter away, but manages to appear next to the driver's window in less than a nano second.
Other mistake: In the desert base camp, it is supposedly in the middle of the day or in pretty hot weather, but BA's breath can be seen in one shot.
Other mistake: In the montage at the end, Murdock is misspelled Murdoch on the military forms.
Continuity mistake: In the hospital, when Hannibal tells Murdoch to join them, in the wide angles BA is in the background standing next to the wall, far from Face. In the close-ups he's right by his side.
Continuity mistake: When the team saves Murdock during the 3D projection, Charisa falls backwards but a frame later she is standing still.
Answer: They can, but only if they have a set of modified rotor blades to be able to do it. The Apache for one is able to do it. The Huey in the movie however is unlikely in reality to be able to do it - there would be no need to fit the modified rotors to what is essentially a transporter.
