Toy Story 3

Continuity mistake: During Andy's daydream at the beginning of the film, Mr. Potato Head has an eye patch over his left eye. When the daydream cuts back to reality we see that Andy has removed Mr. Potato Head's left eye to symbolize the eye patch. But when Andy's mum comes in with the video camera, his left eye is suddenly back in. (00:01:15 - 00:05:25)

Factual error: When Woody is looking at Andy's high school graduation picture in his room, there is a concert ticket in the upper left corner of the screen and another one just below it for a band called "Humble Beginnings" both with a date of Saturday, November 17, 2009. This date fell on a Tuesday. (00:11:15)

Continuity mistake: When Woody and Buzz are standing on top of the cabinet looking at the photo they hear the kids and mom coming, they immediately jump down from the cabinet and land on the bottom open drawer, next to blue skateboard, then on the floor and they both run to the toy chest without looking back. Two shots later, when the door opens and the kids/mom come in, you can see that the drawer is now closed. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: When Mom gives Molly the donation box she writes "Sunnyside" on only one side of the corrugated box. When the Sunnyside box is in the car and also when Mom carries it to the daycare, there's printed red text (name, contents, etc) under the hand hole at the adjacent side of the box, but when Bonnie's Mom carries the box into the butterfly room that printed red text has vanished (NOT the handwritten "Sunnyside"), then it reappears when the kids go to recess. Continuity mistake: After Chuckles tells the story of Lotso we see the gang locked up at the daycare center. Jessie comforts Bullseye and looks at the word "Andy" on her boot (with the "A" on the inner side) . Woody returns and when the bell rings for the kids to go outside, we see Jessie on the floor. Notice that the "Andy" on her boot is now different (the "A" is on the outer part of her boot). (00:52:50 - 00:57:10)

Deliberate mistake: When the bear pulls Woody into the garbage bin after the other toys have crossed over, his hat is not pulled off when his body is squeezed under the lid when going down. (01:15:35)

Continuity mistake: When Woody and Co. accidentally configure Buzz to his Spanish setting, they remove two small screws from his back that fall onto the floor. But once Ham starts reading from the instruction manual, one of the screws that landed next to him has disappeared.

Other mistake: After the magnet grabs Slink during the incinerator scene, all the toys grab metal objects to avoid getting torn up. Afterward, they all let go of their metal objects to drop down. However, Slink also drops down despite not holding on to anything because he is made of metal.

Suggested correction: Or, the other toys helped him down.

Deliberate mistake: Despite being squeeze toys, the Little Green Aliens couldn't possibly have got their feet stuck between the two dumpster lids because both the lids are closed after Big Baby throws Lotso in and the gap between the two dumpsters is far too small for any of the toys to get stuck between. Lotso certainly didn't lift the lid off-screen, we would have heard him do it.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Woody is escaping from the daycare for the first time, we see him in a hallway hiding behind a no running yellow stand up sign. He is also at the hallway corner because we can see two women talking down the other side of the corner. He then proceeds down the hallway a couple of steps, he then seeing the janitor coming and immediately falls very close to that sign, Then from a bird eye view scene next, woody is now in the middle off the hallways and the sign is nowhere to be found as the janitor rolls over woody where the sign should be.

Continuity mistake: Lotso throws Woody's hat in front of Jessie's box, which lands directly in front of her. In the next wide shot, the hat is still in front of her, but also to her right. The hat was not touched between shots.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the janitor goes into the bathroom to wash his hands, he originally, whilst entering the room pushing his cart complete in front of the stall, but when it cuts over to where woody sneaks into the stall, the cart is now moved to only halfway blocking the stall door.

Other mistake: Lotso pulls Woody into the dumpster near the end. However, Woody is by the joint in the middle of the dumpster and we have seen that the rubbish is nowhere near as tall as it needs to be for Lotso to stand on to pull Woody in.

Factual error: In the morning after Lotso incarcerates the toys, he bursts into the room in his truck. Just before he enters, we see the room's door handle turn downward and the door swings inward. There is no person or toy on the other side of the door turning that handle.

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Potatohead has a tortilla for a body he has his eyebrows with him, but his eyebrows can't be detachable - there's no hole in his body for them to plug into, and they're not connected to his eyes.

Continuity mistake: When the toys escape from the daycare, the paint on their bodies appear and disappear back and forth.

Continuity mistake: When the Fisher Price phone is telling Woody about the monkey, he also says the wall is eight feet tall. Security camera footage shows toys scaling the wall, almost making it to the top. When it cuts to the toys climbing, they are only about one or two feet off the ground.

Continuity mistake: When the toys are put into the boxes on the shelves, Lotso steps up on some bricks to talk. A few shots later, a truck, which was not there before, takes Lotso and the other toys away.
