Clash of the Titans (2010) is a Fantasy Adventure Drama remake of the 1981 film where Perseus again fights a sea monster and other loosely-based Greek mythological creatures in pursuit of a princess (Io instead of Andromeda). While it made more in the theaters and made in 3-D with updated special Effects (and no Bubo the mechanical owl), this one boasts an angrier Perseus now wanting to slay the devious Hades. It's fine for a look, but not a gem.
Trivia: In a shot of Zeus sitting on the throne, Emma Thompson, in costume as Nanny McPhee, is actually hiding behind the throne - they were filming next to each other. The story was related during an interview - she sneaked on set during a break, sat on Liam Neeson's lap and said "I think you've been a very naughty boy". He suggested she stay when filming resumed, as the shot wasn't going to be on him anyway, but she didn't want to throw off Ralph Fiennes, so hid behind the throne to get out of the way, and a shot of it with her hidden behind, unseen, is in the movie.
Question: Whenever Medusa looks at somebody, they are immediately turned to stone. How come she couldn't turn the Djinn to stone?
Answer: It says early in the film: anything made of flesh turns to stone. Then went out of its way to tell us the djinn are made from "charwood."

Answer: It may be because they were non-human sorcerers, and it gave them protection from her.
